I really like the video and the idea, but not to the point of sharing it with my friends, just because they’re not into bicycles ...
I’d rather put a push sensitive lever on the actual back break vee pipe. So then it’s full comfort on the hands rather then a button under your hand, this is also better for it working every time without fail.

You always use your front brake first and you don't need to use your back brake 50% of the time. So no.
I use Rear Brake most (It's safe so)
