The story for those who didn’t understand, Hobson came to the Far Far Range because he wanted to explore this distant planet, but he met Thora and fell in love. There was still that part of him that yearned for adventure, and so he constantly explored and eventually discovered the ancient machine to travel across space and time, the ultimate adventure. So he had to make a choice between love or adventure, knowing he can't have both.
He chose love.
On the flip side, Beatrix was running a small plant shop when she met Casey at a cafe. They became very close, but both eventually realised that although they do care about each other, their interests couldn't coexist and Beatrix ended up buying Hobson's ranch and leaving Casey.
So she chose adventure.

I agree so much. I like to sleep, especially when he streams later while I’m at school, so I appreciate the VODs so I can watch them later in the afternoon or when I actually wake up ❤

I think you have 4 puddle slimes currently in your pond and you’re supposed to only have 3 per pond because they’re super shy! It says in the slimepedia :)

it's actually 4 because it says "more than 3 other puddle slimes in close proximity" so each puddle slime can have 3 others totaling to 4

ah! a bummer i missed this one, but excited to watch it nonetheless! the anxient ruins is my favorite area in the game (and the glass desert is second) so this is a treat to be sure!
edit: i will say, hearing the gilded gingers and watching jim walk right past the sounds did pain me a little as someone who loves to collect them

I remember playing this game when I was maybe 7 or 8, with my older brother helping me get through it. I don't think I ever completed it then, but recently, actually the day before Jimmy started playing, I picked it up again. My older brother still helped me through it, and remembering all the little things all while I played was amazing. I finally completed it, and I said it in chat during one of Jimmy's live streams and he congratulated me, which made me so happy! Anyway, Slime Rancher is second *only* to Minecraft.
Looks like it was a fun stream! Bittersweet ending, but it's all over now. It's too bad I wasn't there because I was studying for my exams.

It pains me a little that Jim never did enough of Viktor's exchanges to unlock his lab (and, consequently, the 3rd minigame, which is my personal favorite) but I really enjoyed watching through all the vods nonetheless!
