Under the hood you'll find a "Wildcat 445" Nail head motor which is a 401 Cubic Inch V8 that produced a peak torque rating of 445 ft. lbs.

I used to have a 1964 Wildcat in those same colors. It was equipped with the 425 c.i.d. engine, cornering lamps, a red LeSabre interior with the short console. One of the fastest yet most reliable cars I’ve ever owned.
When growing up I did Model's of the Car.
Growing up a buddy of mines family owned nice chunk of land that had basically a old Buick BSA,and a gravely junk yard,i remember as kids 10 12 year's old driving this car,it had a push button transmission tho
I had a 64 Wildcat and it was a great car. It didn't have all the toys but had dual remote mirrors, driverside spotlight,Those beautiful triple dipped Buick mag style wheels,the awesome 401-445 Nailhead with dual exhaust. The car was Arctic White with excellent chrome with no pits. Beautiful ride,great handling,awesome power,and very reliable. What more can you want from a car? That's why I would really rather have a BUICK! I Love Buicks!
I just seen one on the side of the road today. Bench seats. 80k mi. Runs and drives great. Nice chrome and front end. Needs a paint job and a little bodywork.
Pretty cool bro. Our family owned a 64 Buick Wildcat Ragtop. 445 White paint with black interior. We ended up repainting it a yellow due to the enormous size of the hood being white in a snow storm was a bit too dangerous during white outs.. But ya what an awesome car it was.. Thanks for taking me along on a ride from my past... Cheers...!!
