I can never control myself laughing when he’s trying to give the presentation.
12:08 "On now, as we look back at a fantastic year for direct vent stoves -- I'm gonna be sigg agai--- H-BLEEEEUUUUURGH-UHHH! HEURRRGH-UHHH! HURRRRRGH-UHHH! HUUURRRRGH-UHHH! HUUURGH-UH h-gugh-bughr, y'know that feeling when there's nothing coming up? HUUUUURGH-UHHH!... HUUURGH-UH! HYUGKH-HURR... God, I sound like the devil..."
BEST COMEDY SCENE EVER. IN HISTORY.
Fun fact, I was in the studio audience for the filming of this episode. They also reshot some scenes from episode one. 24th May 2002, it was the same day that season 3 of the Uk's version of Big Brother started airing.
@@quintisalive Thanks for being toxic today. Because that's not a cliche in youtube comments. You tell the world a lot about your opinion of yourself with this behaviour, best of luck with that chief.
Ah just to have been there. Nice one.
Haha, what a funny story
@@mulletronukThose kind of stories are probably better in the caravan
First time I saw the scene of him trying to give the presentation after he injured himself I literally had stomach cramps from laughing so much!😁😁😁
🤣🤣 I remember that, and the way he let off the fireworks by accident at the start aswell! These 2 series are the best Alan Partridge ever imo, it’s just packed full of brilliant moments
"Lynn, I've pierced my foot on a spyyyyyyyke!" still cracks me up all these years later.
lol that is the greatest part =]
That and the sick part
It's the finest delivery of a line in the entire history of all TV, film and radio
I love that you love Alan Partridge. A lot of Brits don’t even get the humour. But it’s absolute gold.
I still remember the first time I watched this episode while it was originally airing on TV. When Alan mentions the blood squelching in his shoe and the camera pans down to his bloodied foot, I genuinely felt like I was going to pass out from laughing. And then the whole presentation which followed. It's the hardest and longest I've ever laughed at a show. Great to see you're really enjoying Partridge! Hopefully you'll do the Partridge specials like 'scissored Isle' and 'welcome to the places of my life'.
...and mid morning matters followed by This Time. Did he ever do Knowinh Me Knowing You (& Yule "oooh, pardon")? You can't afford to miss anything with Alan in it
Exactly the same. I was silently uncontrollably laughing. It’s one of those things that’ll never get the same reaction a second time 🤣
Yes I laugh just thinking about the episode.
Superb.
I felt exactly the same during that scene bud it was hilarious. I will add those to my list bud thanks for the recommendations.
His dry-heaving made me die laughing 🤣
When he says want some more glitter? Cost 2 grand that . I burst out laughing evertime
The first time I saw this episode of couldn't breathe when he put his foot through that spike.
Still funny now.
Agreed that scene was hilarious, and I felt that pain when it happened.
I'm so glad you like Alan he is a great character
Alan mistaking the South African saying "No you can't", for "No you c**t", is priceless.
Wow totally missed that after 10 times of watching
LOL =]
@@jakemorrison8507 you're not the only one man, I only just got that joke watching it on this video 🤣
I never got this too, just assumed he was angry, hence Alan's reaction.
@@chrisbfreelance me too.
Every line is a quote 😂
" ... There's nee porn on it ... "
😂😂😂
Love it that you " get ", Alan ... 👊🏼🤍👊🏼
He's my favourite comedy character 🤭
It's great for me to see others watching for the 1st time, once you realise how funny he is 🤣
"close your mouth Lynn" gets me every time
The balancing with the fruit and the tea is genius.
LOL it was great.
Eeeeeeeeeee Lynn! 3,2,1 land.
that segment with michael and the attack helicopter is by far my favourite micheal moment haha
One of my favourite episodes. I missed so much the first time I watched it because I was laughing so much. This series of Alan Partridge is brilliant
This episode had me cracking up, I'll have to give it another watch soon.
Have been watching your videos regularly for ages now and never commented...just wanted to say thanks for being here during lockdown and beyond...u r such a good dude x
Dude, your laugh is (in the best possible way) infectious 🤣
I love to hear Josh laughing. I loop his older episodes, of After Work Reactions, just to keep me company while I do housework. It's pure joy.
Don’t shine the torch in my face mate .. I’ve lost a lot of blood 😆😆😆🤣🇬🇧
So many people have "I've pierced my foot on a spiiiiiike!" tattoos, hahaha
That is awesome =]
Nice to know the humour translates across the pond.
I have been waiting for your reaction to this Josh. Your laughter always cheer's me up.
I love the idea of this being enjoyed outside of Britain.. I'm actually from Norwich where this is set and recognise some of the places. The train station especially..and it gives me great pleasure to see it still being enjoyed after all of these years..
It's still good in my opinion..
I'm in Norwich too! Yes it was good seeing the train station 20 years ago - looks exactly the same today!
“Some of these people are from Stoke”
As someone from Stoke, I can relate 😂
I loved that comment being not that far away myself ha
Some of the these people have come from Stoke he says
@@tucosalamanca5194 Yes, it means something a bit different doesn't it. He's not talking about the character of people from Stoke, but the responsibility he feels to complete the job because people have come all the way FROM Stoke.
Got all Alan partridge on DVD so funny..😂😂❤
Michael Voices Aleksandr the meerkat.
Partridge is king.....
Yes Josh, 2nd series is so good. You should also do Knowing Me, Knowing You…
I have them both on my list bud!
@@AfterWorkReactions The Day Today as well - it's Alan Partridge's first appearance.
I’ve been waiting for this episode, Josh, it’s my absolute favourite. Not a moment is wasted, it’s just pure comedic genius the whole way through 👍
This is my favourite episode. Michaels helicopter bit and the spike are very quotable
Oooooh it's a good comment
Good on you for understanding the Geordie accent. I’m (almost) a Geordie myself so it’s fantastic to see someone from the US understanding the accent. 😂 (I say “almost” because although I speak very similar, I was born about a 20 minutes drive too far north to be classed as a true Geordie).
Thank you, after watching so many UK shows I can really hear the difference in accents now.
Hi Josh I must have seen the 2 series at the"Travel Tavern" 15-20 times and I still have same reaction you just did. Comedy at it's best this will never get old, Anyway all the best from across the pond Jim, Surrey, England
Only s1 is at the travel tavern. AP lives in a caravan during s2.
@@davidz2562 Thanks for clarification, I spend half my life correcting people on youtube about factual errors so I thoroughly deserve your comment! All the best Jim
You are a legend for watching this 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
There’s loads Partridge for you to watch 🙏🏼👍🏼😂
Thanks
Great reaction…👍🏼
"Got access to the kids.. but they don't wanna see meeee"😂😂
Best part of that is his kids are in their 20s at this time.
@@teamcreambits Is Denise's age ever stated?
John, the builder was a hugely underrated character imo. The Bond episode and the "cotton and guns" line are superb.
I've yet to find ANYTHING that made me laugh as much at this episode did when I watched it on the night it was broadcast.
gotta love Alan
He is hilarious =]
Have you reviewed the episode from a previous series when he's living in the travel tavern trying to impress the Irish TV guys and he ends up going back to the house of his biggest fan?
It's fantastic that Josh understands Michael.
Steve Coogan: One of the best character actors on the planet. That presentation scene, awesome! LOL
he is great, so hilarious =]
possibly my favourite episode in the series. Jesus it goes places. The one where he pisses the farmers off a contender. my god, I can't breathe with this series when it goes there.
That’s my Favourite Alan Partridge video and I loved watching you watch this ❤️👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
Omg you've done it again. I'm in the middle of watching ya videos and you popped up with a new one again lol. Cheers bro 👍
Might be the greatest character ever made
Loved your reactions!
Thank you!! 😁
Also he did brother & sister characters Paul & Pauline calf .. that’s definitely worth a watch 😆🇬🇧
Great episode when I think of partridge this is what comes to my mind 😂
Used to love this show , pure gold
Even before I watch this am already laughing 😂 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👌
So glad you enjoyed this My favourite comedy.Keep laughing.
Thanks bud it was hilarious =]
There is loads and loads of Alan Partridge stuff - There's about 6 main TV series, a couple of books, webisode stuff, random specials - all sorts. I've been a massive fan since he first started and I still find stuff I've not seen on youtube
The way the books are done is absolutely brilliant. Reading Alan's exaggerated and untruthful version of events compared to what we actually saw in the shows is hilarious. I don't think anything like that has been done before. I have a pretty rare comic relief clip on my channel that you may not have seen.
I've been waiting for this episode 😂
It was hilarious man I loved this episode.
I recognize the fella with the beard isn't it the dude who plays David Brents agent in the office ?
loving your reaction - fantastic
Thank you so much 😁
''chewing up the drive-way''. I love that description lol
That Welsh flag looks so amazing man!
Thank you!
Partridge is a character of unbelievable talent 😂
" ... sorry about the smell of Urine, but there is really nothing to do "round here ... "
😂😂😂
who's tom Donaldson'? oh he's just a mate :)
As I said before on alan partridge reactions Michael also made this show what it was
Greatest show ever made.
You have to do knowing me knowing you afterwards. It came before I'm Alan partridge and ideally should have been watched first but going back is fine.
This is one of my favourite episodes!
Ooooooh, you're gonna have a good time
Awesome series
The fantastic Steve Coogan who created Alan Partridge, starred as Alan Partridge, and wrote all the episodes of Alan Partridge.
LOL that is awesome =]
Alan Partridge is comedy genius 👌🏼
Probably the best episode
Great reaction to a fantastic episode! - "I sound like the devil..."
Hey I and all my friends talk like Michael - it’s Geordie !! Xxxxx
That is awesome =]
When he calls Lynn an old mess lmfao
Lynne, you couldn't present a..... cat
Amazing ... 😂
A very funny episode
Great reaction Josh 😂👍🇬🇧
Brilliant!! Where’s our next only fools?
In my opinion, this is the best I'm Alan Partridge episode, and the second is Season 2 Episode 6.
one of the best episodes....the heaving on stage lmao
Classic episode, with everything going as badly (or worse) as you'd ever want it to. 🤣
I also enjoyed the Alan partridge film, that was pretty funny
I think these AP series' are Coogans best work. Someone I know is in the cutaways at the Norwich railway station.
Can't wait until you see Alan vs Tex lol
I loved that episode!
Think you would like Garth Marenghi's Darkplace....
I love Alan could fk up putting milk in a bowl of cereal
LOL so true.
Dan! Daaaan!
Lynn, u couldn't present a cat
Some of these people have come from Stoke 😂😂
"First award tonight is for best.. Christ." Hilarious episode.
LOl he is great =]
Can I suggest you reacting to Rob Brydon's Cuddle Jumper "Would I lie to you"? You will find it very funny.😂
aahhhaaa
‘So what part of Birmingham are you from?’
cheeky git I'm from Stoke
lol Jurassic park!
Is the 1st reaction on YT from Season 2?
Can’t believe you cut out the funny story bit 😭😭😭
Well there’s no need for that!!
I've put my foot on a spike...
... pierced...
@@Almost_Famous_Ryan of course, pierced. Sorry Alan.
If I said “meerkat”?
Just coz av got a shit table
