12 low's are legit most comfortable shoe i've ever owned. wish i could get another obsidian pair like I had when they first dropped.

The Cherry Red is a special one to me personally (upper left corner @ 4:50). He wore this colorway when he came back to Seattle in 1997 to play the Seattle Sonics. It was on NBC. I remember leading up to the game, Sonics coach said that MJ was relying a lot on his pull up jumper because he wanted to preserve his body from physical contact. Of course in true MJ fashion he took it personally and scored 45 points on the Sonics using lots of jumpers. He even made a buzzer beating half court shot at the end of the 1st quarter. I honestly thought MJ in 96-97 was the best version of MJ during the 90s. More savvy. Still in great physical form.
Up to this day air jordan 12 commercials gives me some goosebumps 😤
I had both versions as a kid. But the White/Cherry's are my favorite because their the exact shoes Allen Iverson embarrassed Jordan and Bulls in from the famous crossover. To the second game where he dropped forty in the United Center as a rookie, and the thirty point game with the double clutch layup.

*In my opinion this shoe doesn't get enough love, the 12s are one of the flyest and easiest shoes to wear. Nothing over the top on them design and the OG color ways were ease colors to style.*

Excellent videos on sneaker history! I’d love to see videos on the Kobe 9, 10 and 11. I feel like the last few signature Kobe’s that he played in were underrated. Everyone goes nuts over the Kobe 5 and 6, but the last three signature pairs didn’t get much love. Kobe and Eric Avar were pushing the limits with materials and technology, especially towards the end. ✌🏽

Only Jordan's I ever wore were Jordan 1s to skate in back in the 80s (Bones Brigade wore them so we did too).but everytime I went to the United States for the next 20 years I had to pick up pairs for friends back home. Sneakerheads get pissed when you can't find their size. Cheers, great video

My first pair of 12’s were the flu game ones. My college team colors were green and white. I remember telling my coach the sole of our team shoe Nike air max was coming off so I would just have to wear my personal shoes. My teammates got a kick out of it and my coach told me after the season he knew what I was doing but I was playing so well he let it go. My favorite Jordan’s to play in ever!! 🤙 love the videos man
The Varsity red 12s = for sentimental reasons I love this shoe in this colorway because he wore it against the Sonics in Seattle. He scored 45 points including a half court shot at the 1st quarter buzzer.

Awesome video per usual Bryan! When I was playing in college at the university of Arizona sometimes I would practice in the white and French blue retro 12’s and wear them in games when sitting on the bench 😂.

AJ 12 is the most beautiful OG releases IMO esp. the suede version, followed closely by AJ 9 in olive or black cat. Both look great for casual wear or basketball play.

Dang, I had no idea the Wings colorway had... wings... on it that could be brushed to reveal. Definitely going to have to keep an eye out for that next time it retroes. The 12 is pretty far from my favorite silhouette and the colorways are usually hit or miss but I do appreciate it.
