I can't wait for my superdelite! It's scheduled for a February build(was produced early and on its way now). It's a Rholoff HS GX with Fox upgrade and front rack with the bag. I also got Tannus Armor, aerothan tubes and the new Hiplok d1000 to keep it safe. It's going to be a car replacement for me. A work vehicle and the best beach cruiser in Florida.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. This was for me the definitve guide to my decision to go full-suspension and not hard tail. Totally love the thoroughness of this video! Thank for this. I had to find this video again and thank you, as it was a big factor in me pulling the trigger on a Superdelite GT Rohloff HS with the GX + Fox suspension. I am waiting for delivery.

This is the best bike review I've seen. The bike compares to the Stromer in price. Very, very expen$$$$$$ive. But I'm considering getting one. You convinced me.
Awesome video. I just ordered my own Delite GT Rohloff in Germany and stumbled across your review on TH-cam. Definitely showed me that I made the right decision. Interesting to see that you get motor support up to 32 km/h while we only get it up to 25 km/h.
Just ordered one🥳 But the Supercharger. I’m a hard tail lover. Anyway: The Rohloff is a must if you’re living in steep terrain. My recent e- bike with Bosch CX (Haibike XDuro 2019, bavarian company) is dying, because the hills here are very steep and the Shimano drivetrain & chain stressed the motor too much. Edit: Changed the order to the suspended Superdelite, Rohloff, GX. You changed my mind. Also can’t wait for the dropper post. Must be great at stops in big city traffic. The GX version has now the new Schwalbe Johhny Watts. Supposedly a grippy tire who is smooth and silent on asphalt and capable of trails/ muddy forestry roads. Can’t test drive right now in Germany because of the never ending Lockdown. So your video was very helpful.
Incredibly comprehensive video. Thanks! The Multicharger is for me. I don’t have the off-road requirements, and need the extra cargo capacity - a true car replacement for me.
What would you choose between this SuperDelite and same specs Homage for a +50 yo guy, looking for a both city/office comute and trekking leisure trips? Thx!
I rode recumbents for 15+ years (butt/hands) and only got back on uprights 8 years ago when I bought a full suspension Haibike that has become my road/mut bike with Super Moto X tires and fenders. If your tailbone is sensitive fs makes a big difference in how long you can ride. Nice to see some street bikes but wish it weren't so expensive.
Simply the best review I’ve ever seen. Thanks for taking the time. What do you think about the Delite 4 high speed for a commute of 40km total?/ Today I bike that distance in an e-bike with max assistance of 25km/h. It’s one of those with some resistance once it gets to 25km/h. So it’s hard to go faster than that. And here where I live the bike lanes are great (Copenhagen, DK), so it feels really safe in a good part of the journey, as the bike lanes on the road are completely separated from the cars and only a few people are biking there. Thanks again for the super cool video😊
Thanks. My dog died, my woman ran off with my best friend and I broke a tooth cracking black walnuts when I could not find the nut cracker but otherwise everything is just super.
My dream bike is the R&M Homage 2021. But I can’t afford it. Is there any other bike in the market that makes a high quality belt driven, rohloff or enviolo hub, with hydraulic disc brakes which is comparable and more affordable? I was thinking Gazelle c380hs but it doesn’t have rear suspension. Thoughts?
The speed sensor magnet is not integrated into the brake rotor for a good reason. ... Brake rotors get hot. Heat destroys magnets. Thanks for the review.
What an awesome review 👍. What do you think about the ABS option? It’s too bad that we can’t combine the Fox suspension upgrade with ABS. I tried an ABS e-bike last week, and I was able to hit both brakes really hard even on a wet surface that was covered with wet leaves. The front wheel was absolutely stable with ABS and didn’t lock at all, while it quickly started to skid on non-ABS models. However, I will be transporting my laptop with this bike as well, and I think the Fox upgrade might be nice to have to protect it from shaking all the time.
I have to say I think the older version I have with external batteries looks sleeker when 2 batteries are installed than the SuperDelite. Much prefer the single battery version with a much thinner top tube. Looks so much less like a tank. But if you really need the extra range, I guess you just have to accept the bulky look.

@@CitrusCycles Is it difficult? I've been considering an electric bike, but I'm worried that were I to cycle very far, and then eventually have the batteries die, that I would not be able to pedal it all the way back.
@@thekaibailey It is a bit heavier than a regular bike due to the battery and motor, but it is fairly easy to ride with the assistance off.
