Absolutely gorgeous, you are so brave using oranges and reds. Because I have not been comfortable with both of the colors, you have given me the courage to at least give them a try. I love watching the ease with which you do your pours. Thank you very much. 🙏🏼
Thank you very much Consuelo. Red and orange work great together but you have to be careful with white. The white will turn your reds to pink and oranges to peach. I'm so happy that I've inspired you to try out new colors. Good luck and have fun!
Brad, I love these pours. Red is my all time favourite colour when I do paintings and acrylic pours. Red and Blue are my go to colours all the time. Than my golds to accent them all. Love all the red ones!
Thank you very much Leila. I tend to use blue more than red but I love using gold with both of them. I'm quite fond of all these red paintings. Thanks for watching.
I could put this on my tv and just play this all dAy. What a cool chanel that would be. My dog is so relaxed too. Lol. I play this when I'm stressed out and all my troubles go away
My granddaughter is coming to visit me real soon. I have a paint area set up so we can have a blast! She’s very artistic so this should be interesting. 🥰
Minute 12:35 - Wow...GORGEOUS right out of the cup! Just started watching your videos. Thank you for the PEACEFUL format full of BEAUTIFUL creations. Bests xoxo
Hi Brad, this is Vicki. My husband and I have been watching you paint. Your paintings just blow us away. You are a “true” artist. I tried to do a pour (one like you did) with 2 cups..... I had layered some really pretty paints in one cup and the 2nd cup I just layered white and black and then I poured them at the same time. It was really pretty at first but I think that if I could be more patient tilting the canvas it would have turned out better. I wish that you lived close and you could teach us. My husband just retired from Delta Airlines (he’s been a pilot.) When I get out the paints he watches and (supervises a bit) but we have fun. We’re both just learning. If I were healthy I would see if I could come and watch you paint for a few hours. We live in UT. I’m trying to get healthy so that we can travel. Have you thought about teaching online? I’ve looked at a lot of pour paintings and I love your work. We were trying to see if you use push pins on the bottom of your canvas but we couldn’t get a very good look at what you use. I’m going to keep trying your “beginner” paintings. So, we are watching and learning. Vicki and Rand
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments Vicki. I'm so sorry to hear you have not been well. I hope that paint pouring will help in some way with your recovery. Please congratulate Rand on his retirement, that's fantastic! I will be teaching online classes as soon as possible. My "other" work has been unrelenting for the past several months and I haven't had the time to film the course material. Before the pandemic I was teaching classes in person several times a week and it was the best. I don't think that will happen again any time soon but my goal is to make the online courses as fun and educational as possible. I love teaching and look forward to connecting with my past and future students. In the meantime keep practicing and don't put any pressure on yourself, just have fun. And always remember that every painting is unique and one of a kind. I always tell my students not to get a preconceived idea of what they want the painting to look like. Let it surprise you. Many times it's better than you could have ever imagined. That's what I find most beautiful about this style of art. Thanks so much for all your support and I look forward to talking again soon. All the best, Brad
Wow! You are Awesome. You definitely have inspired me to do one myself. I'm actually going to do yr first one first. Thank you so much for sharing. I love it. You truly are gifted!!!
I thought for a moment you were going to let the black paint at the top of the canvas run off, but you stopped just in time. The black left a beautiful negative space that the red and other colors contrasted nicely with. Beautiful.
I love your videos! Do you measure the weights of your paints with floetrol to accurately portion your mixed pouring paints? Please advise; thanks! For sharing! Hugs from TN, USA!
I measure all my paints by volume. I don't use a scale. My most common measurements are 1/4oz and 1/2oz. For the 1/4oz part size I use 1 1/4oz floetrol and 3/4oz of paint. For the 1/2oz part size I use 2 1/2oz floetrol and 1 1/2oz of paint. I have a simple system of measuring my floetrol and paint that makes it go very quick. I'll be sharing my entire measuring and mixing system in my upcoming advanced course.
Yesterday I was started with black base. After that poured with 4 different colours, when I poured the colours on canvas it comes out very beautiful design. But after dried all colors turned mix with black and they looked silimer. I don't know what happened to that.
It could be a couple things. The paints might have been too thin. Or the paints you used were transparent colors and you're seeing the black basecoat through them.

Amo seu trabalho
Muito obrigada Luiza.
Hi Brad .. what is your pouring medium ? Why u dont use blower ? Why u dont torch the final ?
My mixing formula is in the description. I find torching the paint unnecessary. I do use a blow dryer for certain techniques.
Very nice. Good idei
Thank you Jyoti. I'm happy you enjoyed the paintings.
Can we use color directly on the canvas without using base black or white.
Sure you can.
Bellissimi 😊
where do you find the double cups?
Hi Jan, I found this one on Amazon. Try searching for split cup.
Join me March 8-10 for a FREE online 3-Day Workshop. All the details can be found here: www.acrylicpouringacademy.com/blueprint
What kind of mini blower do you use and where did you buy it?
Hi Dana, I didn't use a mini blower for any of the paintings in this compilation. I don't the mini blower but I'm sure you can find them on Amazon.

#8 - Purple swirl delite
Este tipo de pintura pode ser feita em madeira ?
sim. É melhor aplicar primeiro gesso na madeira.
Очень красивая заливка, хотелось бы этому научиться!
