💚❤️💙 my Tradition,my identity thanks to my parents for teaching us about the culture especially my late Dad 'Ntehlah' rip hero Dec 2020, from geeat Mbefu Clan of Chomba,Northwest of Cameroon.🇨🇲
Joy, may his soul rest in peace, He sure did a good job introducing you to our great culture. The batten to promote our culture is now in your hands, hope you run with it to ensure his legacy is eternal. {:
Can't stop singing and dancing most especially as a twin. This is honour song to the twins in our cultural and traditional settings.Congrats bros keep up.Feeling honoured.
Travail bien mérité que le SEIGNEUR t'accompagne et que nos AUTORITÉS t'encourage dans ce développement de notre culture et notre tradition. Une fois de plus accepte mes félicitations.
Actually this is also our own version of baby shower " born house" for twins. In my mother's homeland it's a sight to see. The women and men all decked in their traditional regalia. Dancing majestically to the beats. I just love it. Been ages since I went to my mother's country. Thank you Anye. Meya .
It is a dance associated to a Bamileke ceremony called Nsi ( literally, Nsi means God). The ceremony is strangely similar to what is described in Exodus 12. The Nsi ceremony is still celebrated in many parts of the Big West in Cameroon; including Dschang, some areas of North West and South West.
I can’t agree less but I will like to affirm to you that is dance is a ceremonial dance that is use to honour twins in the north west. This is like an appeasement song of royalty give to this special children. It is mostly sang by the villages within mezam.
This fabulous music will stay in my mind, cos with this song i had a good chirstmas with my family and second half.Love the music,u make us proud abroad,Courage
This is absolutely a great way of sharing our Cameroon heritage. What a fantastic creativity Mr Forti. More grease to your elbows!!!! Oneway Shipping is proud to share this with its customers who have all appreciate your art. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2013. My kids are still asking me for the DVD.
More than enjoyable. The producer needs to expand his horizon with impunity. Guys are loving u and your production. You're a hero. I don't know how to stop playing it.
Actually i just watched this wonderful animation presented by this folks from North West Region of Cameroon. I am so amazed by their performance and i have been watching it for more that 5hrs...but what i wanna ask is that '' do you have the lyrics'' coz some of us may like it...lol...great Job...me like it

This is actually really really really good!! Rich and wonderful melody and cultue. If I can ask one thing. Do it again with the actual singers/dancers. I think it will be worth much much culturally to this wonder song and the people.
This rythm is from the North West Region of Cameroon where I come from. Great job. Who is behind this? My company can help sell these as digital downloads. Contact me if you have the rights to these products. Thank you for promoting our very rich yet underexploited culture.
Sorry for my incomplete response been distracted with getting the technics of the production right and promise detail info will certainly be coming to u sooner Its typically sang to appease twins or those who were born before/after them. During such a ceremony, every body Sing/Dance, taste Salt and Palm Oil using two fingers from each hand, then Food/Drinks are shared It transcends religious boundaries. Common within the Ngemba tribes in the Grass-fields of the North West Region of Cameroon
This is great. I encourage you to come up with a story and an animated movie. Take your time and make something good. You wont regret it. Good luck. I like people who work hard and create something new.
i feel your concern and hope u get answers but how many times have u asked for translation of a song u like from another village or country without actually asking any questions. don't hate, just asking
Adelslim1, the question about subtitles etc was posted by a young Cameroonian (anarchyliberty ) who did not grow up at home and wanted to know about his country. Anye Forti responded kindly. You on the other hand had no business responding negatively to a question that was not directed at you, and without knowing the background of the person who wanted this information. No wonder young Cameroonians in diaspora get discouraged about getting involved with their folks.
Hey Anye! I absolutely love this! I made an electronic remix of the song that I uploaded here: th-cam.com/video/YaSeQEmhosA/w-d-xo.html . I hope you'll like it!
