This brings back all those memories of when I first started clarinet. I was a small child,hardly grade 1 and completely failed. Now I'm going to grade 8 and listening back to it just.... I'm about to cry.
This was everyone's favorite song to play in band when I was in eighth grade, I'm a junior now and Ive been playing Bb clarinet since 7th grade, this is still my all time favorite song
Same! This brings back all those memories of when I first started clarinet. I was a small child,hardly grade 1 and completely failed. Now I'm going to grade 8 and listening back to it just.... I'm about to cry. Sorry I talk to much...
I listen to this while doing any number of things. I am always building something, like a toy rocket or something, and I use this to give me a creative boost. thanks so much for posting this!
This song gives me chills every time I play it (I play drums {ITS REALLY DIFFICULT AT FIRST YOU HAVE TO HAVE LASER FOCUS}) I love this song to bits tho my adv band plays it and it’s amazing
It saddens me, as a professional, well behaved human that there isn't a single comment here that doesn't contain the word "boner" yet as a trombone, I am proud.
I'm playing this song with another song called Dark Ride and Plaza De Toros. I played a song called Darkheart made by the same person, that was last school year. That song was everyone's favorite, along with a two songs called Armory and Junkyard Jam.
OMG, I played this in 6Th grade for Concert band. I was playing cymbals but... Lost my music sorta.... A shame really, love the piece now that I appreciate music and performance more. ^^;
We play this song it’s a wonderful song I live in Memphis and on Sunday we will be playing scorpion and air of nobility at st Benedict for a concert and this is everyone’s favorite too, i play snare drum,bass drum, tympani, and xylophone. On air of nobility I play snare and on scorpion I play bass drum.
I play bass drum for this piece due to the fact that I lost the rock paper scissors match for snare 😭 but to be fair the snare and bass drum pieces are VERY repetitive
We played this song in 6th grade and the kid that was supposed to do the crash missed his timing and just gave up and my band teach yelled “NEVER GIVE UP!!!!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!” I swear I’ve never seen him so mad. Lol
I play alto sax for this song. Sometimes when i get bored i play my part for this song along with everyone elses (baritone, trumpet, flute, clarinet, trombone, tenor, etc) i play all these parts on my alto
@@apuji7555 nope. She literally just up and quit. We didn’t know (including the director) until 2 weeks before our first concert this year (December). She started showing up for in person but never showed up to band at all. Never heard from or seen her in the band room since. I see her around the school occasionally but that’s it🤷🏼♀️
played this for one of our festival songs and part of the reason we got supierior but it was safe to say the people on 2nd trumpet was tired of playing the same notes over and over 😭
@@xmizre if the other instruments would be kind you would also be able to hear the oboes along with the flutes because all the instruments play super loud like the saxophones I’m fine with loud bass instruments but the saxophones are just rude to play that loud
