    Hi,
    I am just stating off with my prep journey and plan to give the GMAT somewhere around March 2024 then what is the best one to choose? Normal GMAT or GMAT focus?

    • @egmat
      @egmat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @pragnyaashaw4889, If you plan to take the test in March 2024, it's better to go with the GMAT Focus edition. By March the current version might even be retired (no deadline announced as of now). Also, if you are starting the prep right now, you don't need to stretch the prep for 8 months. Ideally, you should build a study plan for 3-4 months and achieve the target. Stretching the prep for 8 months is not recommended. If you need more help with planning this, write to us at support@e-gmat.com and we'll be happy to help.

    Hey , I'm starting my gmat prep now. Also focusing for next winter intake. And thinking to give gmat in November. Which one should i choose ? Focus edition or regular one ? Also im poor at SC and geometry but on other hand whole QR section seems scary

    • @egmat
      @egmat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @@nehashashidhar462, If you are weak in SC and Geometry, you should go with the Focus Edition. If you are relatively weaker on the Quant side, you just need to start from the basics and follow the right sequence of learning activities to improve in a step by step way. If you need more clarity on the approach to be followed for Quant, feel free to write to us at support@e-gmat.com and one of our mentors will help you out.

    Hey! I'm completely new to GMAT. I'm planning to register for the GMAT Online Intensive (4 months course) by the end of this month (April 2023). So do I get taught from the very basics if I signup for this course? And now that you're saying about the new version of GMAT exam i.e, Focus Edition, will the necessary changes be incorporated in the GMAT Intensive syllabus as well? So that it won't be a problem for me even if I register for it now? Sorry for the bad English tho. Thanks

    • @egmat
      @egmat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @sujithnavabothu802, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the course comes with dedicated foundation/basics modules for both Verbal and Quant. So, you can learn from the basics. And when you purchase the course now, any new additions to the course (and all the enhancements made to the course for the Focused edition) will be automatically become part of your subscription (you don't need to pay anything extra). Feel free to drop an e-mail at support@e-gmat.com if you wish to discuss your queries over a phone/video call.

    Hey, I'm about to start my GMAT preparation in April, but I'm quite worried about the change. Would taking a 6-month plan and studying the entire GMAT in the current format be beneficial? What if they changed the whole SC and DS section? Where should I go from here?
    Is it better to keep studying with this current format until I have time to switch to the updated FOCUS edition of Focus?

    • @egmat
      @egmat  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Nayandev, Every e-GMAT course will support both the current GMAT and the GMAT Focus Edition at no additional charge. So, you will be able to prepare for either edition of the GMAT. We can customize your preparation right away based on the edition of GMAT (current or GMAT Focus) that you plan to take. Note, you will have the option to take either version in H2 of 2023.

    I’m planning to take the gmat in November 2023, aiming for December rounds of applications for universities. Which version of GMAT should I consider?

    • @egmat
      @egmat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @snehar7029, thank you for reaching out.
      Since you plan to aim for Round 2 deadlines, it's better to take the GMAT in October 2023 as that will give you more buffer time before the application deadlines. And for giving the exam in October 2023, you should go for the current version of the GMAT. If you need more help with this, please write to support@e-gmat.com. We'll try to understand your goals better and help you choose the right path.
      Happy Learning!

      @@egmat thanks for the guidance! In case I end up taking in November and apply for R3 or R4, would current version be better or newer focus edition?

    • @egmat
      @egmat  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @snehar7029, in that case, you can consider the GMAT Focus edition if you are strong in Integrated Reasoning and have relatively better skills in Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension compared to Sentence Correction. However, if you are naturally stronger in Sentence Correction but weaker in Integrated Reasoning, then it's advisable to opt for the current version. For further clarity on this matter, you can also schedule a video or phone call with one of our experts. To arrange a call, please reach out to us at support@e-gmat.com.

    Hey, im planning to give ne GMAT exam in December 2023, so should i give GMAT current edition or focus edition?

    • @egmat
      @egmat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @kartikeybasera3133, if you are starting the prep right away or if you are aiming for R2 deadlines, then it's better to go with the current version and get done with GMAT in the next 3-4 months. But if you plan to start the prep at a later date, say in Sept 2023 (and not aiming for R2 deadlines), then you should go with GMAT Focus edition. If you need more help on this, please write to support@e-gmat.com , we'll try to understand your goals better and help you choose the right path.

    Hey! I have started my GMAT prep and have realized that SC is my biggest weakness. So the GMAT focus edition will play to my strengths. At the same time I would like to apply for R2. Do you think it is feasible to give the GMAT focus edition and still apply for R2 or would it be too big of a gamble?
