16 gauge copper wire for ring base: amzn.to/2EkApeG

4mm round hematite beads amzn.to/2CehapD
8mm cats eyes beads (multi) amzn.to/2CfrkGI
Sterling Silver:
20 gauge: amzn.to/2FHIrhh (best to buy half hard for the base)
18 gauge: amzn.to/2DW2bNR

*** You can buy small amounts of Argentium silver wire on Etsy. It is like sterling silver, but tarnishes less. Very cute and easy to do it.
Thank you
God bless you
Thank you Benancia.
Hi Heather! I've recently decided I'm going to try some jewelry making. The one thing I wonder is, after you take that last little twist to secure the wire, what's to keep it from digging into the skin? Should it be filed a bit to smooth it? Also, how much do these rings sell for? Thank you for the excellent video! Can't wait to see others. 👏👏👏
Hi Jamie: Thanks so much for watching and for your great questions. When you twist the last wire be sure to finish it on top (not underneath where it touches the finger). If you cut it flush with nice sharp pliers and pinch it with the flat pliers a bit you should be fine. I generally don't file the wire. For prices you can charge $10 to $20 for copper wire or $20 to $40 for sterling silver wire. Price often depends on your presentation and branding when you are selling it. If you sell on Etsy be sure to post stellar photos and create a unique brand image. GOOD LUCK.
I think your very amazing crafter i admire you skills and your ability to make the best out of what you've got.I'm resin crafter and take jewelry class i love it and you've helped me improve my skills thank very much.hope the best!
Thanks so much Jojo.
Thank ya Mrs Heather you dont know how much this helped me..
You are very welcome. So happy it helped.
Awesome!
Thank you! 😍
Love this ring style, it's my favorite to make! Thank you!
Thanks Brandi.
very nice, I can see how this saves wire! i usually make rings with three bands of wire, but this way is more economical. I'll post my try on instagram and credit you :)
Thanks so much for the great feedback. Looking forward to seeing your creations! Happy New Year. 😍
Happy New Year to you too!!!!
l LOVE this video and made my very first ring using it! It was short, sweet and to the point. My audio is broken so I used CC to lear,n. LOL My only suggestion would be letting us newbies know approximaely how much wires, etc. you use. Looking forward to your other video's!
Thanks so much Jeannine. You can use about 2 inches of 18g wire for the band and 3-4 inches of 20g to attach the bead.
Thank you. Great video. May I ask what brand of jewelry pliers you used? I'm especially interested in the round nose pliers. Are the fine tipped?
Hi Teresita: Thanks so much for watching and commenting. The red pliers are round nose pliers. I bought them over 25 years ago. They are similar to these: www.firemountaingems.com/itemdetails/h203988tl
The blue handled pliers are flat and called needle-nose or chain-nose pliers. Good luck! Heather😍
U r amazing. Love watching your videos. Ty so much that u even do these videos for everyone to watch. Ty
Thanks so much Diane. I appreciate your kind words!
i can't find those wires in my country ,i really wanna make one for mom 😞
I'm sorry to hear that. Can you buy the wire online?
Heather Boyd Wire nope ,my dad never buys online "because hackers can track his e-card" 😖
Heather Boyd Wire i just made loops o wire ,but it's the hardest thing to cut,it's like a rock
EXCELLENT! EASY INSTRUCTIONS, CANNOT GO WRONG - THANK YOU!

Ruth: Thanks so much for watching and commenting. 😍
Thank you for this tutorial. I will try this!
Thanks so much. Have fun with the rings!
Very nice and easy! And the bead looks suspended instead of hurting my fingers trying to wrap wire around the beads. This uses a lot less wire to make several rings too. Thanks a lot!
Yes, the bead doesn't press against your finger...great observation. Thanks so much and have fun with them.
Beautiful professional looking!
Just seeing your comment now! Thanks so much.
this video helps so much because i am making my own small business thank you!
