The way that Joey goes from talking to the contestants normally and to transitioning to a question is so smooth
Haven't watched the whole episode yet but the way he transitions is kinda cheesy. Not bad just kinda cheesy.
So Joey on average gave $167 to each contestant. Honestly, not a bad outcome for him. Connor and Emily really helped bring down his production costs by winning such tiny prizes.
I'm pretty sure the cost of filming this costed more than their prizes combined lol
He actually planned to have 5 episodes for season 1 but Chris came and took his production money and cut the season to 3 episodes. 😂
Anyway, great show, love to see more! Maybe next time with Felix as season finally guest?

Honestly, the most fun thing about this is just how well Joey sets up the questions. Its honestly gotten to the point where its just fun to try to figure out what hes trying to ask while also learning about the "weeb".
Joey had originally slated Man V Weeb Season 1 to have 12 episodes.
But then Chris happened.

The whole situation at 47:30 it's hilarious. The dart hits, the music stops, there's a moment of uncertainty and then Emily's little scream of realization that she fucked it up. Man, I love her so much.
This type of show is really nice and relaxing. You get to know more about the contestant and then you quiz them on their past experiences.
30:28 so, chiaroscuro(pronounced with a hard c, like kiwi) means literally bright-dark in Italian
emily getting more chances to earn a lot of money but still hitting the 1¥ marker is so on brand with her 😂
I hope there'll be a second season! This show has been such a delight.
I like how, when he defined dorodere, he just added on the more defining (separating from yandere) characteristic of them switching personalities at the end like an afterthought XD
That silence before joey says whether the answer is right or wrong kills me every time lol. Season 1 is such a blast! looking forward to S2 already (wish we could see some preview of it). Also i find it surprising that Emily never went to any Art School before, she's such a talented creator!
In a few episodes half of the run time will just be Joey doing dramatic pauses after each question.

Tsurezure children was soooooo funny! I never hear anyone talk about it because it was a 10 minute show and flipped between so many stories. But really it was awesome.
Season 2 needs to happen. More guests, maybe even a penalty spot on the wheel. I love the energy this show brings out of its guests.

What I would love to see a little bit more of is in the suspense department. Currently, after the contestants locked in their terminated solutions (still sounds funny), you just waited after all of their answers and "held your breath". What would've been also really interesting is e.g. if you started explaining the other answers first. For example when Emily locked in Shundere and after you confirmed that it is her terminated solution, you could've first explained, what and who a Dorodere is and after that, what a Yottadere is (like you did after you revealed the answer in this episode). Then you could've chosen how you wanted to handle the last two. For example you could've gone like "Now we have Shundere and Borodere left, one of which is your terminated solution. Since you have chosen Shundere, let's first explain what 'Shun' and 'Boro' mean. [No idea if you picked Boro because it sounded funny, but if you actually had a meaning in mind, it would've been interesting and would build even more suspense, because now there is no more "clear" answer, because both last answers have a meaning and go from there]." etc. I hope it makes sense!
But still, would be cool to see more of this show in the future! Hopefully it generates enough revenue to continue this. Daidus, Garnt, Sidney and Aki would all be really interesting guests to have (also Demondice, Dogen, Ironmouse and other Vtubers if that's somehow possible and looks good).

you could also go the Hatsune Miku being the first vtube model. Or you could say the talking orange being the first model. It just comes down to how you want to. Also note to Emily, sushi just means sour rice not to fish.
hatsune miku is a voice synth and didn't really get any debuts for being a "vtuber" since there wasn't any other party behind it rather than just being a icon for concerts and works that followed with the program. and i believe the annoying orange falls more into cartoon. or pngtuber if you really want to stretch it. but yeah no, only one way to really see it: sonico was the one to start it all, chronologically speaking.
