Great informative video. Having never managed to successfully overwinter an ensette, I shall be trying this, this year. Thanks
Fascinating, Kris! I definitely want to try this next year! Thanks for the brilliant instructions!
Wow love it
I guess this is why everyone says all the hinibas in this country come through Kris! Excellent content Kris maybe try this one day although the other half is greedy for giant ensetes she wouldnt be happy if I chopped one up.
I wonder if you could damage the original plant just enough to trigger pups without destroying it completely.
Yeah Im pretty sure I have done this by accident, had a couple of *pups* appear on an ensete I caught while planting.
Thanks Kris. Does this work with banana corms?
@WeeSecure-uk Ensete yes, Musa, not really
That was really interesting Kris! How long after you cut the original plant is it before you start to see changes or growth on the quarters usually?
Several weeks before you see the knobbly areas forming.
Great video. I’ve always wanted to try this. What is the powder that you’re applying? Thank you
@newyorktropicalgarden9364 thanks, it's sulphur powder
@@YorkshireKRIS Thank you!
@@YorkshireKRIS Activated Charcoal works good too ;)
