I've been running a SP V8 hub for the last year with a set of B&M lights and a sinewave revolution also wired in. I found that the sinewave slows down battery use on the phone or Garmin, but I've never been able to increase charge with it - I never run both lights and charger at the same time. Having watched this I think I'll review the wiring as I wonder if there is some small voltage loss there. Hmm. Dynamo lights though - gamechanger for the winter commute; I love them!

Sinewave are really good if you contact them if you have issues 👍 Hope you get it sorted ✅ Thanks for watching

Jobst Brants (sp.) recommended 'pluck tuning' - where the spokes are plucked, like a harp. I don't think I've ever bought a built wheel but build my own using this pluck technique. The wheels stay true for a very long time, as each spoke it pulling the same amount. You can 'pluck' for pitch or you can buy a super expensive tension meter. The pluck-for-pitch is probably better. Imo

Hi, what saddlebag support do you use?
Also, do you find your latex tubes go down a lot over night?
    Cheers

Hi, thanks for watching. The bag support is from Carradice and it’s the bag man sport for their smaller bags and works really well. And yes to latex tubes going down quicker but worth it on this bike. I don’t use them on touring bikes 👍

What do you use your dynamo for?

Usually for lights and/or USB charging.

On folding bike, and my city bike - for lighting. B&M make a neat rear dynamo light which has a braking function - it brightens if you slow down or brake.
      On road bike for charging.
