I can’t believe I’m actually graduating this year. All those years growing up wishing I was an adult and now all I want is to live it all over again. I’m really gonna miss “stupid” math class and all the dumb conversations I had with friends I will probably never see again. I’m also gonna miss all the dumb things I’ve done along the way because I’m an adult now and you don’t get anymore second chances.
I’m a senior in high school right now and I never played football all of high school. The main reason was cuz I was scared of other players and my height. I now realize what I missed out on and I will now do something that I will only be able to do once!

yesterday was the last day I was going to play football. That was my comfort character. Playing on the field, throwing a ball around, and not having to worry about a damm thing like school or stress. Football made me feel like I could do anything or be who ever I wanted to be without being judged. Now I must leave that behind only to cherish the memories I had from it and move forward into life with my last year of high school. I hope that whoever's reading this could enjoy there senior year as much as I did.

It sucks that my last season for Cross Country has just ended and knowing that I won’t ever experience High School ever again but for anyone that still has another year or more PLEASE enjoy every moment because trust me it will go by quick and you can’t get any of it back. ❤️

I never played football in high school but I did play lacrosse. As a senior I ended up being double rostered as the backup varsity goalie and the starting JV goalie (we were short a goalie). That team felt more like a family than I had ever seen before and now writing this as a sofmore in college 400 miles away from that, I really do miss that year. 14-4 beating 3 teams we had never beated ever (one was even a crease dive in 2 ot), getting into districts for the first time as well as hosting and winning a district game. I miss it. Live in the moment. Play your hardest because one day, that team will be broken up going to all different schools and you may not even be able to play anymore like me. I ended up at a very small school majoring in cybersecurity. As much as I love it, that team senior year was fun as shit and I miss it like I do my family.
I remember my last home game a few months back, our first round playoff matchup. We won by three on a walk off INT, and I’ll never forget it. Everyone was going crazy, and the crowd rushed the field after handshakes lines. Celebrating with teammates, and hugging my parents after such a big win…something I’ll never forget.
Ill never forget my last time taking off those pads for the last time or hanging up my baseball glove and cleats… Possessing only the mediocre amount of athleticism to start on a HS team but knowing you’ll never play further. You young fellas enjoy being young.. it don’t last forever!
I did not played football because of my parent. But I did wrestling. I just recently graduated and right now this is wrestling season. I felt pretty sad because I really miss this sport so much and great memories I made. Also, I miss Friday night lights, playing in the pep band, hanging out my friends and watching the game. My last game ever my senior season in 2007. Went 13-2 and took our town to our first ever state championship which we lost and this past season in 2021 they went again for the second time since that 2007 season and went 14-1 and played the same team we did and lost and that was the only loss they had last season and from the looks of it this year they have a good chance of being back. They just won tonight 11/11/2022 in the second round of the playoffs and are now 12-0. But going to the games now and seeing those kids play every Friday night brings back some great memories. But I now have 2 boys of my own one is 13 and youngest is 11 and my oldest will be starting high school next year in 2023 and I can’t wait to watch him under those lights and make some of the best memories just as I did 15 years ago. As you get older and move on in life after playing you’ll make memories greater than those and do bigger things but as for most and myself those memories of high school football still hold a special place in my heart and every year when football season rolls around and I go watch a game i sometimes wish I could go back in time for just one night and put on those shoulder pads and helmet and play just one more game and take it all in

I'm not a senior but I'm the seniority of Jr.High (8th grade) I'm going to a new school for Highschool and I play Volleyball, I'll never see my previous teammates due to me going to a whole other county with a different sized school. I felt this on a certain level and it made me cry.
We just lost the semi finals after being told we would finish 5th in our conference and supposedly to go 4 and 5 we went 12 and 1 we won our last game after 2 scoop and scores in the 4th quarter down by 2 possessions with 2:18 left down 12 to 16 they are at our 30 yard line draining the clock we knocked the ball out scooped and scored best game I've ever seen after we lost the semis the sophomores walked up to me and other crying juniors saying there is always next year but no one but the ones that played on the team will understand how close we were together and next year wont be the same😥
to me bein a player i have to be ruthless and show no emotion ive been through so much i had no one say i could do it i walked on that feild gave it my all and came bck wit a scholarship in my hand
