You are taking N3? Go get that full marks. You probably can pass N2. 😂 I met many N2 holder who can't speak and here you are talking about your study regime. Respect! 🤓
QQ Low I do think she may take N1 if kanji is not a big problem for her. Her oral Japanese is far more better than mine, and I passed N2 1 and half year ago.
JLPT exams are about reading and comprehension skills. Her speaking skills are unrelated. It's better to take the exams in order so you can learn Japanese at the right pace and order without skipping important things.
Can confirm I passed N2 recently with a fairly high mark and my speaking isn't half good as hers. I tend to use a lot of 文語(mainly 漢語) in my conversation and most of the Japanese people I talk to will be like, "huh?" A friend of mine just passed N1 and his oral skill is even worse than mine. We both studied for only 8 months. We also speak Chinese so those 漢字 are very natural to us. We can even guess most of them correctly without knowing how to pronounce them.
I'm studying for N3 too! I was happily suprised to see you make the whole video in Japanese~ Its like us practicing together✨ You seem very committed to learning (judging from your study methods) so I bet youre so wonderful at japanese now!! Keep going~
Thanks for sharing this video! I'm a beginner in learning Japanese and I was struggling a bit on how I should be taking notes. But you your video has helped a lot! Than you much!
I majored in Japanese in university, and currently live and work in Japan, so I'm (relatively) fluent in Japanese and will be taking the N1 this year! You're VERY good for someone who's trying to do N3! Keep it up!

Watching your video and listening to you speak has really inspired me to stop putting off learning Japanese and actually try and put some effort into it, since I've been meaning to learn it for a while now. Thank you so much!

I have been living, working and studying here in Japan for 10 years now and can confirm that the book Lindie is using is THE BEST. I used this book extensively while studying for the N1. Although, I did not thoroughly go through each section and take notes like Lindie... wish I would have! @Lindie, I am now studying Korean. Do you recommend any book series that are very similar to this 新にほんご500問 series but for Korean? I am also a big fan of the 新完全マスター series for 文法 and am convinced the N3 version of this book is what got me conversationally fluent in Japanese (before I even came to Japan!). Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I have a question: do you think it's a bad idea to learn Japanese and Korean at the same time? I'm asking because I'm learning Korean now but in the future I'm going to take a master's degree where I have to learn Japanese.. and I'm afraid of it haha
I don't think that's a problem! I mean I don't speak Japanese but I also learn Korean. Both languages sound pretty different and also the writing is very different so I don't think you will mix them! I can tell you it can get very confusing when learning Spanish and Portuguese.... That's what I did! 😂
Lindie made a video regarding this same topic, she has good suggestions so please look for the vid. In short what I remember her saying to make your life easier- if you’re going to study more than one language at a time, then it’s best for them to be different from each other, not from the same family. Korean & Japanese would be confusing learning at the same time. But please look for Lindie’s video, she states it better than I would.
It’s nice to come back and watch older videos that you couldn’t (fully) understand before (I’m pretty sure I haven’t actually seen this video 😳🤭) but now I fully understand :))

honestly, I just watched your how to learn Korean vocab because I just recently started learning this language and then I find this. Hello, do you have any tips on where to focus for Japanese study. I been learning on and off throughout the years but this past year 2019 and now 2020 I really want to tackle the language! So far I have been learning with Mongo languages, and Dulingo. Tho recently I have bought the Genki elementary text books Vr2. I'm still struggling a bit with Hiragana. I haven't started Katakana yet, and I know very little kanji. Any tips on how I could improve with them? I know this is a bit advanced but how did you learn to speak so fluently. I don't have many people to practice with since I live in Canada. How did you over come your fear of speaking out loud.

Hi. Lindie!
I hope you do your best today for the exam. My English isn't that great but I put some Korean subtitle yesterday. As I translated from English to Korean because I don't know Japanese, the translated Koreans can be slightly different from what actually Lindie is saying. However, I hope this could help for other people!
See you around, Lindie! 😊
감사합니다!!
私は日本人なのですが、日本語がとても上手でびっくりしました!私も英語頑張らなきゃ、、
All the best for you're exam!
Amazingly to see Vietnamese in your note too. Like I guess you know 4 languages: English, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese??

すごいですね。勉強方法 どうもありがとうございます。私も頑張ります!
