ANOTHER UPDATE: The format of the group stage will not be 2 groups. It will actually be 4 groups with 4 teams each that will be playing BO2 against each other. You can find it here [x.com/dota2ti/status/1830504310565712011/photo/1] UPDATE: The compendium for ti 2024 was just released, which might bump up the prize pool in the next few weeks. It has already raised by half a million dollars in the first 3 days.
Great video! Will be rooting for Liquid this year, want Nisha to win so bad Sad that Miracle & King Sumail won't participate, grew up watching their god level plays and now they can't even get through qualies to TI :(
Valve's greed is just enormous. Imagine the tournament pool dropping down from 40 million to 1.6. that's basically all you need to know about the attitude to competitive dota scene and the game itself.
Not entirely sure if greed is the right justification because if they were greedy they would have just kept the battle pass running I think. But I do think that the choice to stop the DPC was not good for the pro scene despite their reasonings.
Good point. There was a bunch of stuff that I ended up cutting out because I was worried the video was getting too long. But seeing there recent performance at Fissure and the "?" they dropped in the all chat against spirit... I will def be paying closer attention to them. Thanks!
@@kinito9541 They're just newly formed and nothing to be told as a team. Yet you may see familiar faces and names but nothing to tell..Yet.. as a team. Other teams are not mentioned as well but its understandable.
@@baddingtonbear Here are my observations to Falcons. Falcons play mind games. So they spam all chat but mute enemy conversation. So possibly ignoring this part is better. Although Falcons are not winners or known faces doesn't mean they should be missed out. They are performing good and are contenders to TI. Respect they have earned. I am not a Falcon fan. I would like the community to be friendly and humble.
It really isn’t what it used to be man :( No more DPC circuit, old legends loosing out to all these new zoomers, small prize pool no battle pass. You can just feel Valve pulling away 😢
It makes me really sad every year where it seems like valve cares less about TI. But TI 13 at least looked amazing. I hope the opening ceremony and main stage get a lot of love.
@@baddingtonbear The love is still there. Fans will still be thrilled. But its never gonna be the same again. Heck I don't even know that its T.I season again as last year it was around October. Don't even heard about majors.

Your voice is so made for this dude
One of the reasons TI is prestigious is because of the pricepool, being that low, I doubt some would take it seriously.
Yeah I agree. I'm busy making another video about this that should be out this weekend
Asia will still take it seriously.. money matters more in those areas.
ti8 ti9 most hyped and most talked about tournament after that it started to decline
Thank you for the storylines! My favourite thing is the player rivalry so I’m hyped for Ramze666 vs Quinn.
Being absent from youtube for a year and coming back with this video, banger. Keep this up bro!
Thanks so much
Great video!

Same! no Kuro, no Ceb. Crazy to think Miracle winning TI was 7 years ago
I miss Miracle
me too man...
Bro should have nothing to do with Kuroky but they are arab so what can we do
Same here 😢
Wild to see only two teams that i recongnize. Dota is so different now
Great video bud. Thankyou
Nigma not playing, not watching
Puppey is more likely to win Ti. Than nigma with the kuro squad qualifying or doing anything.
So ti9 is the last time you’ve watched?
has nigma been a contender these last few years?
Nigma is shit
Kuroky to retire
2 million for the winner of the TI seems shocking let alone it has to be shared for all the teams wow.

so now EWC/riyadh master have a bigger prize pool than TI? kinda sad
the video lasting only 6 minutes tells u everything u need to know about TI
In your storyline part Team Falcon was not introduced. Why?

I really wanted to mention Nouns too because they are NA's last hope and have been performing surprisingly well recently, but didn't have the time

@@kinito9541 I agree. They keep beating big teams and winning majors. I'm looking forward to seeing them at TI
The ticket prices are way too high

i think player dont have that much desire to win the ti anymore..
Valve want all the money
Now is boring with prizepool is lower
They are starting to kill T.I 😢

Starting? They basically did already
