RIP my wallet after 3years of RFS pro and trying to find something else to help my wallet so I looked for flight simulators and it turns out RFS has the cheapest pro so back RFS p… oh were is my wallet oh I had to burn it for money
I played all of these when I was a kid and it's what got me into aviation and I'm about to graduate from my school's aviation department with a commercial drone rating. I love these games even though they're kinda crappy.
As someone who played battleship destroyer, it was not just shooting planes You had a ship that could be upgraded, it had some cannons as well as AAA It had a campaign where you earned money to upgrade the ship's weaponry, i found it very fun at the time, missions included shore bombardment, anti air and ship to ship combat
The blue Angels thing u can make it so that you control the whole airplane (with flaps, airbrakes etc) before the mission starts there are 3 modes the first 1 is full autopilot the 2nd one is autopilot but u still partially have control of the airplane and the 3rd one is you have full control, it's kinds hard to master the 3rd one at first but once you get to play the game alot it's pretty easy and fun
I’ve been with these games since the start at F18 Carrier Landing on IPod Touch when I was a kid, which makes me somewhat proud to have been a part of the community’s history. Thank you for making this video, it brought back some good memories. I have to admit the F18 games were probably the reason I’m so passionate about military aviation and flight sims now.
Amazing video! Rortos has been a massive part of my life (recently) and a lot of other people’s too. It’s great to see the evolution of how far they’ve come!🔥
Rotors games were what brought me into the world of flight sims which gave me some good experience on flying real aircraft, I'm forever thankful for that studio
Air Navy Fighters was so fun back then. It was definitely from 2012, since it was available on the Meep kid tablet thing also released the same year. For some reason the C-2 Greyhound that came with the full version was armed with an autocannon
I loved this studio to death back in the day. I remember the monetization getting a lot worse as time went on, so that's why I eventually stopped playing them, but I still love these games' core gameplay. I'd put everything on "realistic" mode and go ham, it was so much fun micromanaging every part of the aircraft for me.
I remember playing Extreme Landings for HOURS on end, and as a kid I often flew around LGA a lot in game, while the scenery wasn’t the best, I enjoyed playing it.
I've known rortos since I was 10 I'm now 15 so I've been playing their games for 5 years of my life, my first ever rortos game was "airline commander" and I played it for a long time and then I moved to rfs for more realism and liberty to fly everywhere, and then I ve installed almost every other game of rortos, so yes rortos is very important for us mobile avgeeks😀
I personally loved the battleship defend game, because think about this, many classic games have this same type of game, where your an AA gun defending a position, but rortos's version of that type of game kinda gave you unique missions and your boat would ACTUALLY MOVE across the map, that was cool to me
the F18CS saga is my childhood and for me ,AirFighters Pro (i downloaded free on a APK) is a pure BANGER one of my favourite mobile games ,and for me, the best Rortos Game
I only played one of these games back to 2013 but I wasn't paying attention about the dev name or anything. And when I watched this video with your commentaries, it made me live all those moments as if I was you playing the game since 2011 till I saw the latest updates and made me appreciate the works of these devs and the fun entertainment they brought to mobile gaming experience. Nice vid and big thumb up to Rortos for their work. Ig I will go and download Wings of """herles""" (you did a typo while typing the last chapter title name hahahaha) now ;) maybe go back a little if I had time haha
Just remind hint for everyone that you know on Extreme Landings as I'm a veteran now currently playing on RFS for 3 year, As you know some location have limit satellite and some have 3d looking good airport here some list VTBD and VTBS (as today we see in RFS as HD airport) both airport are closer bc it's located at Bankok, Thailand and next is LICJ, EGBB, TNCM, ENBO, VRMM, OEJN (as we know today in RFS as HD airport), SPIM, HKJK, KLAS, VHHH (as we know today in RFS as HD airport), LEPA, and Finally RJBB (funfact this only airport have 3d realistic airport is like "almost like HD airport similar to RFS" but realistic is ehhhhhhhh it's bad, first why there tail building inside RJBB and second why cargo ship and crane are doing docking at RJBB this is unrealistic (except for Tanker ship) and there also a Bridge you can landed on any aircraft without an issue) but it's not done yet there 2 3d Landmark are exist in Extreme Landings 1 is Statue of Liberty (funfact in Old Glory Challenges there Challenges Close call is you can fly pass at lowest as possible without to crash it) and 2 is Pyramid of Giza in Cario, Egypt (funfact you can't crash into it bc is not solid) that all for hints that you know to about it
I cant beleive how old those games are, when i first got my ipod touch i knew rortos quiet well and despite those prices, they were the best free flight sims on the app store that I could find. I was always into planes and my early years with my ipod definitely influenced me choosing to go to school to be a pilot today
Actually if Gunship III was out at that time, the realistic mode probably had the best physics, even today when comparing it to Xplane mobile it has very good aerodynamic physics despite how old it is
@@Liachu_ I want to say that. Extreme landing... crash animation on old version is realistic (better) than new... Because i have playing the older version on it in 2015-2016. I'ts realistic if i crash the plane smoothly. wing and fuselage not separate (not break apart)... please pin me
I remember playing historical landings, it was one of the first ones they did, if not the first. And i spent so much time with it as a kid. It's the game that got me into aviation first. So nostalgic to see this video...
I played most of this games and I still have installed the Air Fighters pro in my mobile. Now you can only download the Air Fighters but back in the days there were an Air Fighters Pro with all the planes unlocked. Well, if you bought It you still can install It.
My favorite games are blue angels, helicopter sim hellfire, air navy fighters, AirFighters, carrier landings, historical landings, they have really cool graphics tbh but I respect your opinion though
Extreme landing was one of my fav games in those years. I used to play it all the time, hardest mission for me was the short landing where u have to land in a specific point. I played the WW2 game after it and the heli, loved em both too. Marine sim and all those games had one thing common when i played, Failing a mission was like being stabbed cos it took too much time and effort.
I remember my (now ex) best friend introduced me to F18CL lite years ago. I recently introduced my younger step brother to Microsoft FSX, and since then, he has started playing flight sims. So when I remembered F18CL lite recently, I just had to introduce him to it, and we both installed it, and he seems to really enjoy it.
Anyways I'm just really excited to see this video! I don't know when I'm gonna get to playing any video games, but this would be one of my first in a long time. This game would be cool with Google maps, like missions in local areas, and like, in California, or wherever people are at, to have like some familiarity and drama to areas, and to get to know areas
I used to play their games all the time as a kid but with the unrealistic flight models really pushed me away to a new game called “Carrier Landing HD”.
9:41 The game was released in 2018-12-04 and no I didn’t play the game, it was right next to the Old Version below 3.0.3 by RORTOS. BTW Pretty cool video!
I missed the old plane breaking apart thingy(dont know what it is called in english) i just love it i wish they can bring it back in there future game or atleast update in rfs
One thing they should do is make a combat simulator based on Historical Landings, the features I want is: allies to help you fight enemies, a scenario or mission creator with land, air, and naval targets, a campaign and a dogfight mode
I think the song in the Extreme Landing pro is so dramatic because of the MISSING CASE OF FLIGHT MALAYSIA AIRLINES MH 370 back on 8 march 2014 this is just my thought I think the author use it for another reason lol...

Those games mad me love the F-18 with a passion.

Same, but I also had a lot of fun in the Extreme Landings game before newer games like RFS, Infinite Flight Simulator, and Aerofly came out.
Rortos was always focused on military aviation games, and when they try something different, they were really hit on point.
This is why i would call "Rortos" "Aviation's EA"

That "Modern Warship" ad you got at 2:51 is a trap. The game itself is a masterpiece, the devs know their priority
yeah other games have masterpiece ads but modern warship is opposite

Always enjoyed the An 124 on extreme landings where players can open/close the rear ramp and nose ramp
I used to play F18 carrier landing all the time as a kid on my mum’s phone. This video unlocked some real memories.
As someone who once spent a *lot* of hours in Extreme Landings, the soundtrack for that game was actually fire
never thought I would ever see someone else say it... between the music and the alarm your plane breaking down was actually kind-of scary.
6:00 every time you fail a mode in extreme landings that music plays
Yep, but it played in the menu at first launch for some reasons

i remember playing these games so much, especially the F18, they're all my childhood memories beside other titles from gameloft.
