I understand the middle class frustration with being highest taxpayers. Yes it is frustrating. I lived and worked in UK for 20yr, 15 yrs in NZ, 22yr in Australia and it is the same in these countries the middle class pay highest. The Employers claim that they generate employment and of course it is same in every country that the larger companies are very good in reducing their tax by any means. I can understand the BJP trying to uplift the quality of life of the poorer people and of lesser advantage. I myself have worked often throughout a day off even for two weeks at a time, often working 16-17 hours a day and had to pay tax at a higher rate for those extra hours that I work. Frustrating !! Yes sure. Now in my 70's I think okay I consider that those tax money was my contribution as a charity towards helping poorer people. If you think of helping the less advantage , maybe you guys who are angry might feel a bit better in yourself.
Why would not do clothes distribution with clothes industry & housing too . Specially for L. Mig . No doubt the standards have increased now but still there may be people in certain areas

Without looking into the past, the future must be seen, designed and shaped - at least in certain aspects, so as to confer more benefits on the common man, even before their asking for them. India's prosperity will inevitably drive the prosperity of Indians because they have a hand in it. The Opposition's legacy has been poverty and backwardness for the Indian people and wealth only for the elite. To entrust India's prosperity to such a legacy would be a disaster. However, the hope is that they have learned from their past and can offer change given the renewed trust. It is definitely in India's interest to get rid of dynasties and entitlements so that a plural India offers hope for the masses.
