    My wife taught at a junior college and found that most of the students who were disinterested in studying were the ones who had received grants of some kind. That doesn’t mean that people aren’t confined by their finances. I know I certainly was.

      It’s possible when one works and pays their own way, studying becomes a priority due to the cost and value one imbues on the effort to educate oneself.

    So ... I don't get it ... what is this guy famous for ... for spotting problems and then investigating the link of causality and the solution ... so .. what's new or extraordinary about seeking the cause of the problem to find a solution to the problem ... that's the way it's been for time immemorial.
