Riots actually done a really good job with this new support. His kit isn't overloaded, it looks relatively balanced considering the overall state of bot-lane. His shield was the only concern of mine with it being a replicate of Karma or Annie Shield but it actually has two charges, which makes it more interesting and actually unique. His ultimate is much needed considering the abundance of crowd control in the most recently added / meta champions. Additionally, he very much is a support considering his only damage is his Q - well done Rito! The only possible area of his kit that COULD be busted is his W with the bonus attack range paired with certain matchups, but hey, bot-lane needs this kind of absurd range to not get one shot by the tank-assassin or extremely fed mage.
my biggest concern is him late game with his passive, being able to give your entire team 50% ad, depends on teamcomp of course but with like yasuo/yone mid or assassin jungle, its a huge damage boost to the team
His kit isn't overloaded my ass...I seen his ult can stop someone in mid Urgot ult, which states "the person is untargetable"!!!
@@pishka3 if you watch closely, his passive applies on every tick of his w, so a kog with rageblade is going to go berserk with milio xd

the new champion feels so heart warming haha, no pun intended i just love his design, he's such an amazing character and he doesn't seem broken or op he's just a really good overall support
he seems more of a double edge sword, really good if team is up but if behind still not to bad id say
most boring kit, his ult is lame

As someone who loves the extreme utility of janna, and all the various forms of cc her kit provides, this champ excites me to no end. Its a better janna in my eyes and i love everything thats happening here.
i wouldn't say a better Janna, cause the only CC Milio has is on his Q, with a short knockback and a decent slow. Janna has a slow, a knockup and a knockback.
Who needs cc when you have top this is the best support in the game hands down a cleanse a shield a heal a range increase he doest need cc or a range increase if your team cannot die you win

Couple of things I really like about this champ that weren't really showcased here: During lane you can aim your Q THROUGH your ADC to proc your passive which will enable extra poke/dmg if it hits the slow/knock back. When you were out of range from Nami a couple of times, it's the perfect time to use your W to proc the auto AND your passive which would be even better with Aery. Also you can easily cast Q, gage if it's going to hit or not due to the AoE, and if it is, you can quickly W/E yourself to trigger your passive for extra poke/damage. Furthermore you don't even have to be over walls to support your teammates; as long as you're chucking Q's and hitting them, this alone applies your passive and Aery plus any other support items you might've build shut as Putrifier or Ardent. I believe you can also cast his W over walls.
There's just so much you can do with him if you're a good support player. I can't wait.
Now I’m curious if Zwag will use Milio in a solo lane but his kit doesn’t seem like it would work for solo

Milio's kit is really oppressive. His buffed Q deals half squishy's health AND you can launch minions at your enemy. Plus infinite sustain.
He even played renata mid so...

This seems like a really cool champion, also pretty balanced, and a high skill cap enchanter. First one they've released since Bard, who is not really my style. This guy looks really fun though. Definitely going to be playing this when I support. Also, it's amazing to finally get a support that provides a hard counter option against really op team fight ultimate on annoying tanks like amumu and maokai.
Also, I feel like if you wanted to go a full ap support build that everfrost might be the mythic to build for that, kinda like zilean. I could see him using the extra cc pretty well with that kit since he is a king at peeling.

@@tovi3280 A high skill cap enchanter. The reason it looks like he's got a high skill cap to me is that he has very involved mechanics to get the absolute most out of his kit, and he is a champion where position must be exact at all times because of the way his ultimate works, timing on abilities has to be as close to perfect as possible.
Zwag makes such stuff look easy here, but the man is a god at skill shot champions, which is why he plays stuff like xerath in challenger. It is a natural fit for his skill level.
Also, this champ seems like someone who would make very good use of active items, because he's already very good at peeling carries, having multiple actives up also increases skill cap.
@@Miraihi Yeah he reminds me of lulu and sona, but I think his kit is definitely more complicated, and proper positioning is going to be just as important on those two. So he is a natural fit for people that play champs like lulu or nami, but his kit will definitely take some practice to get the absolute most out of it. None of his abilities are point and click, I could easily see someone that is not good with skill shots taking this champ and feeding their ass off.

Defiantly want to see a mid video. You are probably right about the jhin, since 1k ad means and extra 500 physical and some magical burn on top of his auto damage.
Not sure if the ad part can crit, since Jhins largest crit seems oddly big for his build since I'm pretty sure it does not count forth shot execute as a crit for largest crit stat. If it scales with crit to it is insane on Jhin.
@@arthena2130 from what i saw on pbe it simply adds the damage and can't crit sadly, still is a lot to add on any auto or ability for your carry.

I would love to see burn Milio with Liandry's and Demonic since he uses fire and all! If his passive counts as his own damage, would allies proccing it also apply the burns?
Excited to see another possible shurelya champion. The w would constantly proc shurelya passive when it's off CD. Then the instant speed from the active can help disengage with the ult.
Hey Zwag! You should try full crit Olaf again but with Navori's instead of Infinity Edge!
The new Quickblades make his abilities come back super fast, you're able to use W before it's even over and you get so much more damage from the quickblades than you do from IE.
I've been doing it and rushing it 2nd or 3rd item, depending on who I'm up against, I've also switched to using Second wind and Revitalise on secondary runes for extra healing, but inspiration works awesome too.

This champ looks fun! I love how you get amped up and the expert analytics kick in.
If you play Milio in another role, I suggest double-burn with Liandries/Demonic but with a Lich Bane on top because you'll suffer from not being able to finish someone off, so might as well chip them down rapidly. With ignite you'll probably be able to secure kills. Another method is going Heartsteel so you can chunk with autos, but then you can still build demonic to scale some AP from health too. Probably make for a worse early game, but stronger long-term. I like heartsteel because you can use his speed/shield to get a stack for trades. His abilities go pretty well with grasp + shield bash to give you the burn + a good chunk of bonus health damage.
ok so given his ability interaction with his passive i feel like hed be really strong with a liandrys build w/ nashors, lichbane, cosmic.

@zwag do your burns stack? If you ult your entire team giving them all passive buff, can they apply multiple of your burn or would it only empower each of their AA once, and apply a single burn?

I would love to see Milio played with Luden's or Night Harvester... It looks really easy to buff teammates with the passive to proc some nice hits. Imperial Mandate + Rylai's might even be self-proccing which would be pretty fun

For AP I'd think more in the direction of a fighter mage more than burst mage, you have 2 shields with Movespeed and Movespeed from W for kiting all while applying passive, nashors might be a good item on him and shield bash in secondaries for more trading power
I wonder if running cleanse on this champ will become meta. If you are team fighting and get amumu ulted along with your team, then your R is worthless, but if you are able to cleanse yourself, then R, that would be a MASSIVE shift in a team fight.
Also running the bell item so you can essentially ensure your ADC never gets locked down. Looks fun

Hey Zwag, you mentioned playing Milio AP, but did you know that his ad scaling on his passive applied to himself too? It does a bit of damage, up to 50% bonus after a shield or W
how does his w interact with lucian passive? does it keep giving stacks or just the one on first cast? in any case i think he will be good with lucian as your w makes up for lucians weaknesses and you have many ways to proc his passive.

I found out you can actually pull the enemy Towards you if you Q flash backwards, and any other direction you flash
Jhin seems really good late game with Milio. Milio's burn scales off allies AD, and jhin will have a ton of that late so the burn will do a ton of damage
imo he's far better with other champs such as caitlyn and jinx etc because jhin doesn't benefit on range as much as other attack speed based high damage carries who can kite easier
milo looks like he makes the most out of the support role - getting to run around using your kit having fun!
I see Milo W as more of a way to apply your passive over a period of time instead of one shot. Watching your passive deal damage over and over again on dragon and baron was pretty nice.

Hey zwag, I think for this champ you want to build staff of flowing water after moonstone. The ardent is isn't a bad third item.
His kit is amazing. Not too overtuned, just enough to be broken in the right hand. Which is true for almost all well designed champs. Definitely a top tier pick/ban in pro play. His ult may need a longer cooldown as an aoe semi-cleanse is a make or break skill in mid-late game teamfights.
I can see him being played top into a immobile lane. His passive also counts as a separate spell thiefs proc which is funky.
I think the extra %AD damage on next attack makes him pair SUPER well with Jhin actually since his AD scales so high
It would probably be too much, but how about the '' Liberty Build'' where you get the Mickael' Blessing and Cleanse, so that you and your teammates are always free of CC. Obviously not optimal, but imagine this against a hard cc comp like Amumu/Mao/ASol/Orn and watch them fall apart as their ults do nothing 😅
Now I want a milo / senna video where you test how far of an auto attack range you can get (Senna stacks + RFC + Milo)
A mixed ap/ad on hit build might be good since the passive does damage based off of your (or your teammates) ad
i have many questions for this champ. Don't mean you to answer, just things i though and maybe someone could test them on pve and share results. If you build rylai, the scorch of the passive that you give to an ally champ procs it? The same question with Morello, Horizon focus, Riftmaker, Zeke's Convergence, Sheen (i mean, activate Milo's sheen, not ally's sheen) and Ravenous/Titanic Hydra. If so would be very broken. Then, if you build collector, the scorch of the pasive gived to an ally execute the enemy? Can you give scorch to pets like tibbers or even to herald? What happen if you give your W to a melee champ that is on Ivern's bush?Does R counter Zed and Mordekaiser R?

I think it goes really well with yasuo as well as vex , i watch it and when you pushed amumu it applied vex passive so basically vex couldve fear amumu at that point even though amumu didnt dash

Seems to be a hispanic themed champ. Milio must likely short for Emilio a common name. The Soccer/football skill shot and that quote “the shrimp who sleeps gets carried down the current” is a old saying in spanish that rhymes “camarón que se duerme, se lo lleva la corriente”

I have not bought this guy yet but from what I have seen from other pro players trying it out seems to scale really well with haste and Attack Damage. (try that sometime just for kicks?)

His passive scales really well with jhin. Extra 50% of his AD plus burn on auto is quite strong just for healing/shielding him. That's like an extra 300 to 400 damage an auto.
Does his range buff stacks with rappid fire canon ?
Can you check if liandrys works on his passive? might be busted

It seems like he's going to build similar to the annie support build going around, or maybe similar to renata. Either way he looks amazing and as a supp main I cant wait to destroy people with him.

Try a Liandries using Aery rune. then build full support items. Get that burn ticking, and make the most out of CD and the AP :)
2:45 from what I see (and this might be a bug), his auto AND his passive together count as 2 procs for spellthiefs.
I feel like an off meta burn build would be fun with him. Liandry's, scorch, demonic, etc etc.

You should try this with a senna adc, just imagine the range senna would have with her stacks and milio as support

If playing him solo instead of as a support and you take the resolve tree, shield bash would be good for the extra damage on the auto after shielding

Zwag. Milio's passive isn't giving AD; It's turning a % of their AD into AP, which is a nightmare combo on Jhin since he can just build pure crit and attack speed to maximize the utilization of that. I'm sorry if I sound like i'm being a bit of a douche here, but I just wanted to let you know.
I do like how Milio looks and plays though as he looks like a pretty good support for someone like Jhin and somebody who can get a Lot of AD. I would still say Jhin + Milio is gonna be the new Nami & Lucian 2.0 since It's just gonna pretty much scale to oblivion late game, then even harder if the Jhin get's past 600+ AD.
