I just put the crazy shape toys/packaging in bags! I still wrap the other items that are in regular boxes or whatever, so they still get the excitement of unwrapping things. But for the extra awkward shaped items, are getting bagged! 😂

I just put the puzzles in zip lock bags, in order to keep them separated and organized. The kids are good about putting them back in the bag and keeping them separated. Oh and a arts and crafts type of item I would suggest.. is paint pens! Have you seen them? I actually bought them on sale at Kroger. Which is another place ppl underestimate! Grocery stores have great deals sometimes! Especially in the clearance section! I found the Pixicade toy everyone is buying for $5 in my Kroger clearance section! So I'm super excited about that. Lol (it's a toy where the kid can draw their own video game and actually play it)

God bless you ! I recommend the gift Christmas bags that dollar $1.25 sale; for all of the big gifts . They are the size of the trash bags and you can put several gifts in one.
I love the gifts you got. Your son will be so excited on Christmas morning. As far as the odd shaped gifts, use gift bags and save yourself the headache. You can also do like you said for the really big monster truck and stick a big pretty bow on it (Dollar Tree has some nice ones right now.) Dollar Tree also has really big gift bags as well as bike bags that would work for big awkward shaped gifts. If you have leftover boxes from online ordering you can put stuff in those and wrap the box as well to make it easier. As far as the Blaze toys being hard to find its because it is an older show and I'm not sure they still actually make toys for it anymore. You got that set of trucks for a really good deal. I have seen the single trucks sell on Amazon for thirty dollars believe it or not.

I just watched both of your videos and I have to say thank you! My is 5 and your son and mine have so much of the same interest so this helped me a lot! My son loves bluey. The camper bluey toy my son has that and it's a big hit. He has has the playground set and it looks small but comes with a lot. And he also has a bluey DVD movie it comes with 2 seasons.the pizza set is really fun your son will love that. My son has the same one and he loves it.my son loves garbage trucks too! He will pick the garbage truck toy like he has Rocky's and blippys garbage trucks.

These are great gifts, I have a 20 month old boy and 3 year old girl. I bought a lot of their toys during black Friday or random Amazon sales. I was lucky enough this year to have my mom contribute a large portion of the money but after I had already bought a bunch lol. She let me put some towards household things and diapers

I love your story of seasons of life. That is so true!! And kids adjust if you explain and open there hearts to understanding. I can 1,00000 relate! I have 3 boys- age 10,3, 7. We are somewhere in the middle this year, not 4 gifts but not a ton either BUT we planning a Disney cruise for next May and it will a surprise (that we will share early May) so the funds are going to that experience which we are estatic to do!!

There is nothing wrong with going big some years we go big some years we don’t depending on the year ppl have there own reasons for going big or going smaller and that’s okay my reason for going big when able I got one Christmas present for all my years growing up so I make up for that with my children I have 6 children each of my children got 40 presents a piece and I can’t wait to see there smiles when they see them! My children are ages 2 to 12
Would like to also add we won’t go in debt over it either we don’t use credit to get anything if we can’t buy it we don’t get it because we’re not going to go into debt just to give them a huge Christmas last year each kid got 8 presents so every year we do what we can end don’t do what we can’t it works for us!

I gave my cousins one gift and I got them jammies but everybody got the same as it from other cousin she got a little bit more because hers was last because I bought them Legos but everybody else I got them the same mother cousins got all gift cards to Barnes & Noble cause I had a ship stuff and then I got the smaller ones a few small little things in a couple major things
