We were camped over night at the carpark saw you guy leave. We did most of the same tracks and we too also all came back battered and bruised. The Gladiator will definitely do better with a lift. Not sure where he lost his left tail light, I damaged my right on Alcorns (19:30 mark of your video) I just rolled back a little and touched the tree. Got quoted $2k for a new taillight, maybe we could buy a pair and split the cost. Great Video footage.
Love seeing the videos with different makes and models, different sizes and wheelbases. Makes it interesting to see how the obstacles are overcome. Looks like heaps of fun. Hopefully I’ll see you out on the tracks one day! Maybe you’ll make it up to Far North Queensland and we can make some videos. I have a heavily modified 300tdi 110 Dual Cab atm, but am waiting on my short wheelbase unimog to be built
@@defender90orkney9 there’s tracks everywhere. Too many to count! I’m pretty handy with a camera too, so would be good to get some epic photos/video

Ouch on the D90 body damage. The Gladiator will be a beast with a little lift and 37s.
37's and a 3 inch lift(brake over angle, departure angle, and any additional weight on the axles) and rear light protection.

Mint video, new setup is flexy! Gladiator was surprisingly alright, still took a beating underneath.
That Gladiator is far more capable than it's driver. Needs to listen to the spotters a bit more.

Impressive towing, must be a huge amount of strain pulling something up a track like that! Orkney smashed it.

What is that thing on the front of the land rover? The thing the winch line is attached to, is it just for holding the winch line? Or what is it for? Seems massive for just that purpose

I don't think you are too concerned with the panel damage as there is a middy conversion down the pipeline? Just a guessing, awesome rig!

Hiya what is the new suspension and how much lift are you running I was quite surprised at the amount of flex when the front spring dropped out of it's seat that's a nice flexible unit, shame about the damage on the rear tub well the whole left side hopefully not no expensive a bill for you

That new suspension looks to have a lot more droop on the front, look forward to seeing the video with the details. Bit of a pi$$er about the damage though.
