- Join me for a ride on the world’s first and oldest Ghost Train located at Pleasure Beach Resort Blackpool, Lancashire, England
This was filmed on opening day of the season 2024 and due to a few updated scenes the ride is looking good, it’s great to see this 1930’s iconic attraction getting the love it deserves
The ride station and viewing area have also had some refurbishment work done and is also looking fantastic, I love a good dark ride and this one is still up there as one of the best in the UK

The new scenes are really good. All it needs is the emergency lights to be switched off and the classic music that always played inside and outside the ride to be put back on.
Wtf why would they get rid of the music from outside?? That was the best part. I know the inside song has been gone ages though
@@Felixwhiskers0804 I've no idea. The music outside of the Ghost Train gave it character. The indoor music was there when I went last year. Now, it's been changed to generic horror music you can't even hear as it's too low.
The new scenes are so good! I think jumpscares are making the ride much more fun and scarier! I do really miss the Tangerine Dream track they used to play inside the ride but actually I think the ride is better without it for now.

Who remembers seeing the bug-eyed portrait that is now replaced by the digital video decoration style painting.
@@GreatBritishDude-28 I miss that portrait where the eyes would pop out that was a great effect sadly replaced by a tv screen which always doesn’t work correctly.

Such a pity that the tunnel is no longer turning. It used to be better when it was all fluorescent paint without the 'UNDERGROUND' signs. As it turned the optical illusion made it feel like the whole car was turning sideways and you were going to fall out.
Needs to be reinstated for best effect 😕

I jumped on the nun part I went in on my own and was confused because there was parts I didn’t recognise so I got a tiny bit scared even tho I’m a horror fan
This is a GHOST TRAIN ! We have Nothing as Cool is this in the U.S. We use to have them back in the 1970's, I miss these rides. You have a New Subscriber !

The new scenes are great but I’d love them to spend the money getting some of the old special effects and animatronics and things working again, and maybe give the outside a repaint

@@Coaster_Crazy - yeah but they removed all the decorations, so it’s blank. The blue “bricks” could do with repainting too

Can't believe theyve got rid of the voice outside and the whole part with the doll, suit of armour and the vampire where's they gone?!?!? It's been years but I still miss the song and weird cat noises

2 new scenes 😂 grand but they could have done more to make this ride better some of the jumpscares r delayed so pointless 😂😂😂 but im happy to see it get something's changed or added
