Robert thanks for watching and for the comment. I did consider that and it is a very good suggestion. When it was done the door did clear the bottom of the antenna. By using the 90 deg connector it worked out just fine. I hope you are not affected by the fires. From the news reports it would seem most of Australia is on fire.
I'd use this dennis. Leave the comm port connection on, but then when you want to play with the wireless connection to your app, flip the switch. a.co/2Vr9WCb
Does the door clear your antenna? It looked like it may hit.
Jon, it does clear but with no extra clearance at all.
I would have turnned the bracket 180 Deg and lifted it away from the door opening ,
