Really great to see this. As a descendant of the Gbelegbuwa I, Oba of Ijebu Ode also known as Awujale it is exciting to see the Yoruba Kingdoms top tier of this count down. Some descrepancies are argued regarding who is Apex whether Oni of Ife or the Oba of Benin and whether Ijebus are fully Yoruba or an ethnic people of their own. Very very interesting stuff
There's no apex. That's an European thing but one thing is for sure. The throne at ife which was the throne oduduwa ruled was respected by all, even after benin grew independent it still maintained ceremonial ties to the ooni(oghonenuhe) as a source of authority. In the 20th century a figure of the ooni of as uncovered underneath the old oba of benin palace. As for ijebus, I'm one myself specifically ijebu-remo and I can say we're fully yoruba. I mean is it decent from ife in terms of migrations and the monarchies, food, culture, spirituality and even language albeit a dialect but very much intelligible with other dialects so therefore we are a subgroup like manh others. The sudan links came out of a time when there was hysteria in connecting african kingdoms to North Africa or the middle East and because of politics of superiority the the past awujale published that story and the current one upheld it too. Asides from this there's absolutely no doubt we are yoruba
The narration is actually correct and its right, but the arrangement is not valid, due to not knowing that the Ooni of Ife is actually the direct descendant, palace and the acient crown of Ooni Oduduwa where all other Obas are traced to, including Alake of Egba, Alaafin of Oyo, Alaketu of Ketu, Olupopo of Popo both (today's Benin Republic), Omo N'Oba of Benin (Oranmiyan, the grandson of Oduduwa/son of Ooni Ogun) and Orangun of Ila (who's actually the first child of Oduduwa). Theres no reason to check apex among the Benin and Ooni, its direct understood that Oranmiyan the founder of Benin is son of Ogun and grandchild of Oduduwa. Benin just want to re-write history, by using the methodology of Oduduwa existence as direct from God to Oke Ora in Ife Wara or Otu Ife, before arriving Ile Ife to become the 3rd Ooni (not even the first), that Oduduwa actually came from them in Benin as a prince and then appeared and was made Ooni (thats nonesense). He attack the city of Sana'a and Shahr (ruler of Yemen and son of Badhan) was killed in a battle against Aswad. Aswad married Shahr's widow and declared himself the ruler of Yemen. He changes his title from Prophet of God to Rahman (the Most Merciful). His rule of Yemen however was short-lived. Fayruz al-Daylami, a Persian Muslim and companian of Prophet of Muhammad was sent by Muhammad to put down his rebellion. Aswad was attacked and killed by Fayruz al-Daylami. Learning of the Prophet Muhammad's demise, the follower of Aswad continued their revolt under the leadership of Qais bin Abi Yaghus. Eventually, Fayruz defeated them and they surrendered along with their leader.

Morocco alone has the ten greatest kingdoms in Africa.
Kingdoms do not only mean the duration of the rule
But civilization, science, medicine, etc
Almohads were Algerian created by Abdul mumin from tlemcen Algeria 🇩🇿 marinid were Algerians from biskra Algeria 🇩🇿 almoravids were from Mauritania 🇲🇷 also it was ummayads and Abbasid empire who helped Europe in the dark ages not Morocco 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@SalamahChannelAl-Maliki Mauritania and Algeria is it’s own country it literally created Morocco. The Almoravids who were mauritanians conquered Morocco and even named your capital “Marrakesh” 😂😂😂 Algeria existed in 202bc ancient Numidia and Algerian empires such as the Numidians, Almohads, marinids, zayyanids, zirids, Fatimids, kingdom of Algiers, kingdom of ait Abbas, rustamids, hamamdids, kingdom of tlemcen, hafsids and many more all ruled Morocco. Tlemcen has always been part of Algeria but fez, Marrakesh, tangier and Casablanca were all Algerian miskeen he doesn’t know that Algerian empires literally ruled his country for over 1000 years😂😂😂😂 Morocco never existed it was created by Spain and france in 1958 before that it was Algeria land and ruled by Algerians 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
@SalamahChannelAl-Malikinever argue with Algerians about history, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
No offense to the Algerians, they are free to believe whatever made up history makes them feel comfortable, it will not change the documented facts ✌️

You are a secular state Allah yehdikoum
@SalamahChannelAl-Maliki okay Almohad was created by Abdul mumin from tlemcen Algeria search any academic book online and they will confirm this historians always write this don’t read Moroccan propaganda.
Every other Obas are one way or the other the bore child/children by one of wives of Oduduwa or Ogun e.g Oluwo of Iwo is one of Oduduwa's wives, or family migrated from with crown from the palace Uhe/Ule-Ufe or Ile-Ife. Meanwhile, the 16 families in Oke-Ora from 4 crown family of 16, among the families was next that introduced Oduduwa as 3rd Ooni. These 4 families are Giesi, Lafogido, Oshikola and Ogboru. Ooni Sijuwade was Ogboru line and this current Adeyeye Ojaja II is from Giesi line.
