The Weeknd is such a cinematic and atmospheric artist. His albums tell a story, his videos tell a story. Everything is there for a reason and nothing is a filler. Some of his more emotional songs like the whole of Echoes of Silence or My Dear Melancholy are emotional masterpieces.

I get that because I've heard the whole album and he basically talks about how he was blind to her pain and she just pretended like she had no pain from his actions and put on a brave face about her pain and hid her pain behind a mask... Can't stop listening to this track, definitely an 80's vibe and I believe they use a Roland Juno 60 on this track, a great synthesizer of the 80's, wish I still had mine, second hand they are very expensive, I just ordered the Weekend new album, looking forward to it, great reaction Guys.

For not kowing the back story of his string of videos you guys did a good job reacting. In the future if there's a real back story i'd recommend maybe doing some type of cole's notes as it'll make the story more meaningfull imo
