So loads of people have been asking me "Where's your Come Dine With Me? I haven't seen it yet!" and I keep saying it's online!
However I realised it's not there anymore. I'm guessing it only stays up online for a certain amount of time to make way for the new ones...

Oh my days! I’ve just read through all these comments and it’s great! A few pointers -
1) the show is heavily edited and the producers do the most to stir up contention. They constantly pressed me to comment on Kayode in the interviews and I’m sure they did the same to him.
2) This was 6 years ago and me and Kayode are actually friends, we even got on well on the show between filming (you spend A LOT of time with your fellow contestants over that week) Kayode actually came to speak at one of my events a couple of years ago. I think he’s great and am really proud of all he has achieved 🙌🏾
3) Yvette and I went to Kevin’s 50th and met all his friends and family which was lovely 😊
4) Yvette and I still keep in touch. She is very sweet 😊
5) I really wasn’t trying to goad Kayode about the carrots 🥕 honestly it was just an observation…and it’s his fault for f&&king me up on Italian Spritz!
6) Yes, I’m fat 😃
7) The person who goes first NEVER wins and I knew that going in.

Sarah wasn't rude, she just pointed out something obvious. He got way too riled up over what she said. Plus, that's not roasted fam, just take accountability and laugh it off.
Roasted vegetables are so flavorful and neither mushy or hard. They also don't look raw.
ENOUGH WITH THE RAW VEGETABLES!!!!!!! Sarah was offended that Kayode was offended (overly sensitive) by her carrot comment? She should have just stopped when he started to become offensive.
He should have just been g raccoons and said his menu was misprinted and her meant raw vegetables.
He could have used the unset sorbet and drizzled on top of the posset.

I would rather raw compared to ridiculously overcooked. I've noticed 70% of society doesn't seem to know how to cook veggies. They're supposed to have their crunch, not soggy and floppy. They need to retain their nutrients....

I actually think Sarah is really lovely person. It is a competition and everyone is allowed to give comments. Kayode reaction was a bit too much but he handle it well for moving on.
She's right when she says that it's her own cooking with her own special tweak !!! Just look of the size of that momma ....... even the people where she comes from aren't as fat as her and boy do they eat everything fried.

I used to feel the same way, but in hindsight it's the nitpicky people who make for the best controversy and drama, and therefore a more entertaining episode. Wouldn't be much of a watch if everyone got along all polite like ya know?
I think it's awesome, and would challenge someone. However i think they shouldn't judge them harshly on it as it is a bit of a wildcard! But effort is so nice :)

@Alisa Ushakova this is a cooking competition, not a gladiator Arena....nobodys acting cruel or hurtful towards anyone. They're simply having a disagreement. The fact that you would see that mild altercation and view it as an actual fight shows me how soft and privileged you must be. If you think two people having a disagreement is a fight, than i can already tell you must LOVE to play the victim card and not have any self awareness. Being around you must be as fun as drowning to death. A thought out enough answer for ya, Princess??

I think Sarah was a bit tactless, but she had a point about the vegetables. If I got served nearly raw veggies when I was told to expect roasted, I'd be disappointed.

In fairness, food judges can only compare the menu/ what they're told/ the challenge with what's presented ie. roasted does not equal raw.
I agree. Something is off about her. I didn't take yo her at all. Her manner was patronising throughout. She came across as a fake nice person.

I am commenting through each meal.Starting with Sarah- bubbly solid start and yet a score of 5 from a brother who acts nice ,and a six from someones mum who would"ve settled for porridge.The honest score came from the dude hated for his honesty- loving it all so far

This is something that really sparks my curiosity with some of the contestants If you don't eat meat or are Vegan, what would make you decide to go on a dining show that will be 99.9% guaranteed to be serving meat etc? If everyone on the same show had "special" eating requirements, that would be one thing but knowing you couldn't be completely fair to the host cooking the meal b/c you don't eat meat is very strange to me and a little selfish...

One of the most mature set of guests on Come Dine. Despite the friction on Kayode's night, he and Sarah put it all aside and they had a great finish to the experience. I love that.

Kayode doesn’t eat meat, then complains about fish and wait, doesn’t eat mushrooms either…what does he expect people to make for a dinner party for him? Maybe he goes straight vegetables at home, but had they only given him vegetables I’m guessing he’d have complained about that too because he’d say it was too simple or not a complete meal. I get that this is a competition but the people who compete by being determined to complain ruin it for me. Why not win bc you are the best, not bc you picked apart everyone else’s meals, especially considering how sensitive you are when the others do the same? Very simple menu for having impossibly high standards for everyone else.

Yvette's dessert curdled. Whenever you have a protein/fat binder like egg yolks, you have to slowly stir in the cream, sugar and chocolate. Best thing to do is be slow and steady!

Thank you for posting this episode, Kayode. The nastiness of some of the comments here amazes me. I think it's fair enough for people to comment on the dishes, or to criticize a participant who's truly spiteful (not the case with anyone in this episode); what's not O.K. is personal abuse. I like & admire the courteous & humorous way that you've responded to the negative comments, and I hope you'll remember that such an attitude is far more valuable than a cooking contest prize.
(Also, I believe the Italian Spritz is probably Aperol liquor, Prosecco, and a splash of carbonated water….? )

Kayode Ugly is very typical of the kind of folk who go on The Apprentice - "style over substance", they love talking forever, yet they say very little. I think it's tactical play, i.e. keep talking so that you come across like you know what you're talking about - so long as the other people aren't actually listening to what you are saying (to notice that although you are saying words, there is very little substance there) and hoping that they are just mesmerised by the fact that you're talking and smiling at them, so that they just nod and go along with your bullshit chat, because they don'twant to come across like they don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Basically, it's people pretending to one another as if they know what's-what, whilst no one wants to admit that they don't have a clue...typical salesman bullshit..so "motivational speaker" would be right up his alley.
If some one gave a raw carrot like that and told me it was roasted I would weep. Where is the delicious caramelisation?
