Every time I watch an episode of Goen *"Wheel of Fortune,"* it reminds me of when I was three/four years old... Every other morning, my auntie would always go to Burger King and get me two ham and cheese Breakfast Buddies, tater tots (with lots of ketchup lol), and a Tropicana orange juice, and i would "nom" as I watch! Ahhh... the late '80s/early '90s... #Feelinnostalgic
that's practically my-go-to breakfast on Sumnday (I get the Ham , Egg & Cheese Croissan'wich, Medim Hash Browns, Medium Coke Noi Ice and 2 chocolate Chip cookies.
I would watch Wheel of Fortune with Bob Goen everytime I was off from school and during the summer months. I was 2 months away from First Grade when the daytime show moved to CBS and was a disappointed on my first day off from school as I started 3rd Grade.
When I saw wheel of fortune last week I was fall asleep missed the show then my tv screen was blacked that I can't see last November I watched it on my tablet before I took off from 2 days work of Thanksgiving recess.
Every time I watch an episode of Wheel of Fortune with Bob Goen, I always ask why he wasn't their first choice after Pat Sajak left the daytime version.
I thought that they should have brought him back for the nighttime version, instead of Seacrest. I always thought that he did a good job, and the chemistry with him and Vanna was also good.
That fourth round was epic. ONce upon a time, back in the 80s and 90s, you saw contestants spin in the final round to try to get enough to take the lead to win the game, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't(having to finish a round in speed up, which wasn't a regular thing until around 2000, didn't help when that happened)
There were quite a few episodes back in the day where Final Spins and thus Speed Up rounds didn't happen. Speed Ups didn't become a constant thing every episode until sometime in 2000.
@@justinmiddleton8818 I think that was when they started to keep playing until time ran out. I remember they would sometimes they be able to play 3 more rounds after the fourth round with that last round being speed run.
This is the Daytime WHEEL OF FORTUNE, That Aired on CBS
It Came On After FAMILY FEUD and Before THE PRICE IS RIGHT
It’s sad to see Pat and Vana retiring. But all good things must come to an end.
Vanna isn’t retiring yet. Just Pat
@@AnimatedIdiotGuideActually Pat decided to still host the show but just the Celebrity Wheel.
26:40 - All contestants get the "Wheel of Fortune Junior Edition" box game to play at home.

I remember when Wheel of Fortune was Hosted by Bob Goen since I was a kid. I went to my neighbors house to watch a daytime show back then.
My goodness...the wheel values in that 1st round is laughable! I mean I know it's the daytime version but $100-$175 spaces is ridiculous 😅
It was 34 years ago
@@Pdasilva0324 the NBC daytime version had higher values

Bob Goen. The Entertainment Tonight of Pat Sajak
@0:51, that might be the biggest total during Bob's run

happy belated 36th birthday.
You can just tell by the audience this was the daytime version

The Pat Sajak show was about to be cancelled. I wonder if he had no interest in doing the daytime version anymore.

@@jasonduke6003 he’s way older now than when he did the daytime version. He’s probably close to retirement too.

The speed round did help once they started adding $1000 to the amount on the final spin.
If the guy had spun once or twice more inthe last round..
If I remember, this Show was largely based on Hangman.
Do you remember if you got on this Show through 1 of the Contestant Searches?
Yes. It was through a Contestant Search at a resort owned by Merv Griffin in the Bahamas. Merv was the owner of the show.
@@raphaels18Also keep in mind to not forget about the 5 common Consonants & the 5 Vowels.
Where's Pat Sajak?
Ken vs Raphael vs juile. From wheel of fortune 1990

What was the song playing when they were talking about the vase?
A Time for Tony, composed by Merv Griffin himself and the basis for the Final Jeopardy! music as well.
