JR deserves this championship like no one else. The way he turned his career around after playing in Denver and New York. Lebron gave him new life, gave him purpose. Such a great player, and such a humble person. This is the JR Smith the world deserves to see. So happy to see JR reach the pinnacle of the NBA.

I am a big JR fan. I always just wanted to him get his act together. He finally did, and now he has a ring to show for his dedication and hard work.

I respect that opinion but facts dont lie jr was never better than when he was in new york unless you mean attitude wise then yeah but his best days were in ny

No, his best day's were in Denver. He was undervalued in New York. Like the old saying goes, "One Man's Trash, Is The Next Man's Treasure". J.R. deserves this Championship, and has worked his butt off to rejuvenate his career. I'm sure he's thanking Lebron for that RN! Nothing wrong with showing gratitude

Real men are not ashamed to show their real emotions. You can tell this man had a very rough upbringing, and now can say, he's a successful "WORLD CHAMPION"!!! Let's go J.R

No. He did have a wonderful upbringing but perhaps peer influence affected his personal decision. His father raised him right.

Real men achieve shit, then they cry, they are weak, they get shit done. If a man acts like a bitch and wants people to respect him, nah he gotta earn the respect, can't be respected achieving nothing and crying

Fuck off, hater. J.R. was HUGE in this Game 7. Scored 8 pts in @ 2 minutes to take the lead out the gate in 3rd Q. Defense was very good, too. Shump hit BIG 3 pt and got fouled and made the FT for 4 pt play. Goddamn imbecile.

You know what I love? I love when they show the reporters doing the interviews. When I see those guys, schlubby-looking, with their bad haircuts and glasses, I have a lot more appreciation for what the athletes put up with and why they get sick of the media sometimes. You can see why former players become analysts, executives, and coaches, and not reporters.

I remember watching first take the very next day after this, and Michael Rappaport was hating on this moment. Talking about how he was looking at JR Smith's dad and seeing that his dad's expression was that he didn't believe anything his own son said. And I'm looking at this man; looking like he is trying everything he can to fight back tears.
