I'm really starting to get back into my FMS Smasher. After upgrading to the speed motor and the Blackmarket RC Chassis, I was having issues with it. I couldn't figure out why the axles were binding and one wheel kept locking up. Turns out, something was off with the wheels themselves after putting it all back together. When I put the JConcepts and Furitek wheels and tires on it was perfectly fine. So I have neglected it for weeks because of something so easy to remedy. Ugh.
Anyway, I'm back and testing out wheel, tire, and foams to see what combo I like. Definitely prefer the JConcepts and Furitek options over the stock for both looks and performance. The JConcepts feel much lighter to me than the Furitek, but I need to weigh them to decide. I wasn't planning to do all these tests when I shot this video, but have since really been working on different options. I have a few other prototypes from Crawler Innovations to test out, but I am really liking the Comp Cut Deuces Wild inserts in vented JConcepts Renegades.
