*Warning for anyone getting an ant enclosure for the kids:*
*Gel Ant farms will be a disappointment*
Worker ants you find out on a sidewalk will last for a week or two at most. They will also try incessantly to escape and not much can stop them. If you want a colony to last you need the queen. However, if you have a queen, the colony will expand rapidly and will quickly run out of gel which is their food. If you have a kid with and interest in ants, a quickly google search will tell you where and how to find and capture queens in your area. I recommend Ant Shack for buying habitats. Just be careful with smaller ants in these setups. AntsCanada also has more premium items, as well as a guide book that I recommend.

I'm gonna buy a tight-seal 25 gallon fish tank, buy or create nutrient gel, fill it near the top, seal it and and ventilation, then make a big ah ant colony
@@thatSkyKosmoTacticalnutrient gel can be bad for ants. ant jelly is easy to find on amazon as well as some form of protein (insects or the like). i would just fill the tank with dirt about halfway, and make sure you keep it humid. happy anting!

The "perpetual motion machine" actually has a little rubber thing that spins the balls, much simpler than the magnetic thing
The real manufacturer uses a magnet but there are scams that make cheap fakes with the rubber wheel
Thanks for not letting people think that perp motion machine was real lmao. I’ve seen it tons the past few months and it’s rare that anyone comes out saying it is fake pretty much right away… actually ur the only one. Some magician dude showed it and played around with it for a bit *then* explained it. The others don’t even go that far.

Fun fact: I'm reasonably sure that galaxy ball thing is a 'bubblegram': it uses lasers and a convex lens to cause microfractures in the glass. This creates the 3d white spots within the glass

I have a plasma globe and a solar system crystal ball! My plasma globe is surrounded by a hydra and the solar system ball shows all of the planets in our galaxy and even displays the names of each. They're both very cool, I think the plasma globe costed around 60 USD and the crystal ball costed around 20 USD, all from Amazon. ☺️
