Hi Mark, Thanks for sharing the video, as always very informative and well presented. Would it be possible for you to list in either a reply to this comment or your video description the parts you bought? I’m sure it would help a lot of people not least myself who is looking at replicating everything you have installed. Great work and thanks again.
@Bernabond thanks for the comment , and hope it will help you out doing the same . I actually thought I’d put the camera Information in the description but just checked and I must of forget I will update the description now thanks again Mark
I just repaired our rear camera but I'd really likem to do the same as you and replace it for a dual view camera. It was routing the cables that put me off. So, I'm assuming, watching your video, that the existing cable supports two cameras as long as youi buy the splitters for each end?
Hi Ian thanks for the comment . Yes the cable does support 2 cameras But not at the same time you just had the splitter cables to each end . And use v1 for looking backwards and v2 to see the different images When reversing you can have v2 connected to auto change when reversing But I choose not to do that option . And to be honest I much prefer the mirror monitor to the radio screen as it wouldn’t always stay on . And the hole system twin cameras the mirror mounted screen and splitters are only 1/4 of the price for the original waeco camera
@@mark-hazelsmotorhomeadventuresWe had a mirror based screen on our previous motothome and much preferred it to the dash one. I will order the same kit as you with the Dometic adaptors and the mini fuse tap. Your video has really helped me make the decision.
Goodone Mark
Thanks for the comment Dave hope your all well
