It’s really hard to not want to just have a humidor full of them. Once you’ve been to the mountain top. If lung cancer wasn’t a thing and I hadn’t just had open heart surgery, I’d have at least one stick a day.

For me the cigar that hit my pallet best was the Camacho Nicaragua Barrel Aged. Nothing hits the spot like sitting back with the barrel aged cigar and a glass of Flor de Cana aged rum. Amazing and so glad I got the last 3 from my local shop.

I'm a pretty new smoker. I had the good fortune to happen on the Padron 2000 without knowing it's notoriety and it is currently my favorite. I'm graduating law school on May 18 and I specifically bought the 1926 to celebrate!

    1) padron ‘64 Maduro
    2) Oliva master blend 3
    3) Perdomo double aged Maduro
I smoke the Olivia’s as a go too. Padrons for “occasions” Perdomo as a change up.

The Cigar I Love. For me, it is the Gran Habano Corojo #5 Maduro (shaggy foot). It will never make it to a top ten list, but I find everything in it that I love- earth, spice, pepper, cocoa, coffee, and a hint of dried fruit. They’re inexpensive and consistently good sticks. This said, Le Bijou as well as pretty much anything My Father blends is fantastic. I haven’t tried Liga or Opus X yet, I’m waiting to win the lottery first😂!! Thank you, Tim. There have been a handful of sticks that got me going. Oliva Melanio Robusto, La Galera 80th Anniversary Box-Pressed Belicoso, Fuente Añejo 46, some particularly well-aged La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor, Tabernacle, etc. The one that stunned me was the simple Aladino Corojo Elegante (lancero). 100% old school Corojo grown by the Eroia family in Honduras. At its price point, it can't be beat. When I first tried one at the local shop, I was maybe 1/4" in when I cursed under my breath, put my cigar down, walked into the humidor and grabbed another. Every single one has been just as good. For me, it really stands out for its flavor and consistency, so I would choose it as a daily smoke and pick up one of the others mentioned to spice it up or for a special occasion.

Padrón hits my pallet just right, but not my wallet lol! But for me what also hits my pallet just right, and is significantly easier on my wallet is the Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro Churchill. If you haven’t tried it you need to. Fantastic smoke and at a fantastic price. They won’t break the bank. But for me a Churchill size cigar from any brand is always my go to size. To me it’s the perfect size. The blend is always perfect amount of filler, binder, and wrapper, making the perfect balance of flavors, and makes for a nice 1.5 hour to 3 hour smoke depending on how slow I can smoke it without it going out on me lol.

Flor de Las Antilles was that transportive smoke for me. I had a religious experience. I took a puff and it tasted so good that I felt a charge of elation rush up my spine. I said, "whoah." Out loud, while looking at the cigar thinking, "what is this thing doing to me?" It was euphoric. Now I use that experience as a marker for judging other blends. A cigar has to give me that spine rush in order for it to score higher than 94😅

I tried quite a few cigars based off this list. I judge cigars based off how many sips of whatever I’m drinking is needed to cleanse my pallet during the smoke. My Father Le Bijou 1922 was a great smoke, needed very little pallet cleansing, and definitely adding more to my humidor. CAO Flathead V660 was amazing for me. Loved the flavor throughout and is now 1 of my favorites. I could smoke it without taking a sip of my drink. The Southern Draw Rose Of Sharon Robusto for me was just awe full for my pallet. Very bitter and harsh during 1/3 and last 1/3. 2/3 wasn’t bad and palletable. I needed to drink a lot clearing my pallet during the entire smoke. I have 4 left and might give them away to friends. Drew Estate Deadwood Tobacco Leather Rose was interesting, but way too sweet for me. The overall smoke flavor was decent. I needed to take many sips of my drink though really just to take away some sweetness. I’d buy a few more just to have with certain friends that aren’t big cigar smokers. Drew Estate Liga Privada No.9 Corona Doble was a great smoke with great flavor. For the price I have others similar I rather smoke though. Had a Padrone 1926 No. 6 Natural during my Key West vacation and was a nice smoke. Needed little pallet clearing and was an overall great smoke. Decently priced for the quality.

4:20 Pink bands will often have a sharp floral note, right off the first draw and neglect the spicey undertones until the mid to late 3rd. The color scheme could be a marketing gimic to get women involved, but this one has a unique flavor profile because it has a low hanging leather yet woody and pleasant earthy middle followed by an eclectic of almost a carmelized but certainly lavish cacao finish. It's like a strawberry pancake and, dare I say, a hazelnut coffee. obviously, I'm over sensationalizing it, but if someone is having this breakfast with a physical newspaper, try this when you do the crossword puzzle and lmk what you think. It's definitely a morning cigar, but not one you'd take to the lake to go fishing with your son

I had a Drew Estate Fat Bottom Betty cigar recently and have to admit it's one of the best cigars I've smoked in a long time. I haven't tried the Southern Draw Rose of Sharon yet; but looking forward to soon. Keep rolling with the excellent videos.

Your list was pretty good, but the "cigar you love" part was great. For me, even though I love a stronger cigar, my favorites for over 20 years have been Fuente and La Aurora (mostly the original or "1903" now) I just really love the flavor of them. And not to give you a big head, but Obrigado made a big impression on me as well (I scored it a 92 after 2 robustos). I really can't afford any of those on a regular basis though, but I love em when I can get some.
