Sir James: I spent my early years in Belfast working at UTA in Duncrue St. I am your age and am work with Whistles and am learning an open hole 6 key Irish Flute. You are a wonderful Flautist and personality and I listed and watch you every day. Sam Hamilton.
You know, his popularity is more than just how good he is -- he also looks like he's having the time of his life up there. And I love the super-dense core to his sound. His sound on the flute is the same as Rachel Barton Pine's on the fiddle -- they both tear into the music like it's the best meal they've ever had.
That was beautiful. Thank you sir James. You are the reason that I started playing the flute. I’ve been playing for over thirty years, and I still love it, so thank you .
Fantastic musician. Unique flute player. It will never be another James Galway!! One of the greatest artists of the XX century. And.......of the XXl too. I have fantastic memories of my concerts with him and I am proud to be one of his best friends. Love you Jimmy and thanks for all you have done for music and the music lovers.
Dear Sir James Galway, I am not a flute player. I am a recorder player. But I am very crazy that I want to play it. I want to play it since years. I have learn 3 octaves of fingering included the sharps but I don't have any flutes yet. I love it soooo much. Moreover, I live at developing country that didn't support for classical orchestra like Berliner Phil. I just want you to know, Sir, that I am the man you're searching for, but I don't wanna you to do such things. I just want you to know that I am exsist. Your fan, Bagus Baskoro

pour moi James Galway restera le plus grand flûtiste de tous les temps.Il a donné un son, une marque de fabrique de la flûte.
Met him in 1988 when he met the Indian bansuri player, Hariprasad Chaurasia at Tara Hotel in London.
What a person.
