I'd like to see him try it if he is capable of it. It would be amazing for the league.
The league is already amazing
Why take those chances? Because greatness calls for it.! I wish ppl would stop putting their limitations on this young man. Anything is it possible
If he only wants a 4-5 years career then he should go for it.
The average NFL career span is 4.4 years. So… not bad when he’d make more than $30M, and that’s not including his contract from Adidas, his NIL deals & his NFL contract overall.
💯
Exactly
NOT EVEN THAT LONG! PLUS HIS BODY STRUCTURE CANNOT TAKE THAT NFL PUNISHMENT!!!
He wouldn't play every down at WR he would be like like a WR3 maybe get 500-700 yards and couple TDs. Wouldn't shorten his career at all imo.
He’s a DB .. that can play receiver
Absolutely. And another question, if he played in the SEC do you think he’d have played both ways? I say no.
@@SMDAwesumandGizmoIf Prime his coach I guarantee you would 💪🏾
Right but wr get more money in the nfl
He's playing DB over WR if a team had to pick him to play one position.
He is going to be a WR. They make way more money than CB.
Yep!
I hope the young brutha can stay healthy playing both sides.
No chance in hell of doing that in the NFL. Maybe just a handful of plays on the other side, but he’s gonna primarily be one or the other.
@@blaketindle4703I agree.
He doesn’t have to play every offensive snap
Idk man I’m not a superstar athlete but everybody has their limitations. I feel like he could be a CB and have a package of plays at WR or be a WR and have package of plays at CB.. playing full time at WR and CB gonna be taxing on the body that’s 120-150+ plays of contact and constant running and cutting, jumping etc
Start him at DB and make him your #4 reciever in certain packages
Make him your 3rd receiver and maybe even 2nd.
Lmao make the person that won the best wr award in college as your 4th wr😂😂
Not gonna work with grown men
Why can’t he? Deion played both. And was effective.
😂bro he didn’t play it full time. He did it sparingly for like a season and a half out of his entire career. This kid is young and dumb and will see the reality that college is not like the pros
Stop it,not every snap on both sides
I think Travis will do well playing both sides of the ball in the NFL. Probably 1 more than the other.
Didn't do it full time...
Just because it hasn’t been done doesn’t mean it can’t be done
I think he can do it physically the problem is the NFL is not going to reward him salary wise for playing both sides. He going to get paid like either a WR or CB not both if he’s fine with that then cool. He can make up for some of that in endorsements though.
Wr are making over 30M a yr how much money do he need?
@lamart3857 so why QBs are making 55+? Everyone deserves what they are worhty.
@ if he’s top tier at both WR & CB in the league do you think 30mil is enough?
@marleycoldburr if you think they gon pay bro 60-70M a yr to play WR/CB I don't think you understand football
@blackvikingeire bro you can't compare a QB to any other position in football
He can barely stay healthy now. He should stick with one. He’s not a big guy. He has a very slight, frame
🎯
💥
Lmao he only had 1 injury , a shoulder stinger …?
Can’t stay healthy tf?😂, he won all those awards yet couldn’t stay healthy💀, couch potato’s dog
He just had a ankle injury and last year he was out when that colorado state dude did the cheap shot to the ribs after the play thats !
How about just letting him try? If he can make it work, great! If not, oh well. He doesn’t want to have a career knowing that he didn’t at least try what he believes he can do! It’s a non story!
Coach Prime did it, Troy Brown did it and Terrelle Pryor switched from QB to WR. Taysom Hill plays multiple positions effectively. Stop trying to limit this guy.
Kelvin doesn’t know what he’s talking about Travis is projected as a top CB
Yea he doesn’t Travis is a corner in the NFL
He can be a third WR no problem play maybe 20-30 snaps a game on offense for 500-700 yards and a few TDs. He'll mainly be a corner I imagine it's cool that he's opening the door for this to happen. 👍
He can play both sides a few specific snaps.
Play full time on both sides no way no how.
He will have to pick a side. It's the NFL. No one human being can keep that up over the longterm. The stamina and injury factors alone will be to stressful. And then you have all the plays, all the different coaching, distraction. And all of the league's players are top-flight athletes. He is not so great athletically that he can exceed that minimum athletic thresholds on both sides of the field.
Same folks said he couldn’t do it in college tho so I’m backing Travis all the way can’t wait to get bro jersey
It’s not his decision, so let him choose his preferred position then add a 3-5 plays on the other side and let him play some special teams. Once he gets hurt, he can play his true position only.
WONT LAST 2,3 YEARS!! HIS BODY STRUCTURE CANNOT TAKE THAT NFL PUNISHMENT!!!
I see your point but some ppl are special and built different
@@lennyoffill9362 and he’s not. Let’s be real. Dude is frail body.
It’s a different level in the NFL. Travis Hunter is way too small as of right now. Looks like he weighs 170 at best.
He could be the Shohei Ohtani of the NFL.
lol put the crack pipe down!
He a nega more like Hester
If this young man succeeds. And I am certainly pulling for him. He will be the greatest football player ever.
Casual he not 1st player go both sides u have google
He’s a DB
He's going to play full time on defense and part time on offense. Logistically, it wouldn't work in the NFL. He doesn't practice til Wednesday most weeks. No team will allow that.
The league do they now. Monday is team meeting. Tuesday they off. Wednesday they practice. Its possible
You increase your chances of getting hurt!
Duh that’s for everyone tomorrow ain’t promised
He hardheaded
I'm pretty sure other nobodies told Michael Phillips he couldn't do what he did either. Just Sayin 😅
It's a reason why professional football has never had a regular 2 way player....
How old are u 8 ? Pro football used to have a ton of two way players in the beginning
@@anthonytaylor7928 exactly
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Too many snaps too much of a risk of injury
You don’t know ball
I think Prime knows better than anyone if it can be done. If it ain’t coming from him, I don’t wanna hear it
Bruh I’m tired of people saying this man can’t both ways in the nfl we don’t know until it happens and wen it does yall gon be on his nuts
Yea till he get hurt then yall gone be real quiet
He can play both sides it just has to be in moderation 🤷🏾♂️
People need to be trying to get him away from his gf
She probably playing both sides too
Yall weird
I would say in year one have him focus on the side of the ball he’s good at and let him develop….then year 2 during preseason try him on both sides of the ball and see what he do. But coming in with this DIVA personality saying I WILL play both sides first year is not a good look. DO WHATS BEST FOR THE TEAM
He has the motor to play both, but with the teams that are able to draft him high the QB play is bad, so he should play DB with a few wide receiver plays
Chris Broussard please come back please!!
Travis signed with Adidas
Think he needs to worry about his girl still being a "dual threat" she gonna give him problems. 😂😂😂😂
Travis is basically saying, don't draft me if you won't let me play both sides
Diva attitude…ain’t a good luck, be humble and do what’s best for the team..ur a rookie
@@brandong5676sound dumb
I love how people are projecting their own fears and failures on to someone who is fearless! None of these clowns should be speaking on Trav
Why not it’s his career & This not the nfl of the 90s
He young. And not smart. He has gotten hurt in college trying to play both. The nfl I'd a different monster
Lol these people that does not know the guy thinks they know more than him and his coach who has done similar in the NFL. why would anyone listen to you two about both ways when you have not done it or attempted to do it yourselves. This is similar to monday morning quarterbacks
I heard his GF was gonna be a dual threat also 😂 😂 😂
😂😂😂
Yup ex wife/baby mama
Son I’m paying a lot of money and you’re nothing but labor for me. I’m not going to ruin my investment of millions now go catch the ball and make me happy. I will pay you as a DB if you want me to! (In an owners voice)
Deion Did It
But not full time tho, just sparring here and there...this is facts
Does he has the ability to play both ways yes but this is the big boy league the best way to use him would be receiver outside corner package mainly for third down occasionans
Nfl is all about marketing players to sell merchandise has nothing to do with greatness
I think hes gonna be a receiver he will get cooked as a DB
if god say he can he can
If someone thinks they’re hearing God literally speak to them then they should go get a cat-scan and an MRI.
If that's what the man want to do, let him do it. If it's too much for him then he will choose one side of the ball to play.
Wak
Travis will get hurt in the NFL playing both sides of the ball his career will be incredibly short! Also he entirely too small🤣
