- In this week's episode of Heirs and Spares, Kinsey Schofield in Los Angeles is joined by Royal commentator Rupert Bell in Wimbledon, England.
The Duke of Sussex is to be honoured for his service and using his platform to “change the world” with the Pat Tillman Award for Service. But the mother of a hero veteran has hit out following news Prince Harry will receive this award, which is meant to honour her dead son. She's blasted the Duke of Sussex saying there are others "far more fitting" and with less "privilege" who could win the gong.
Rupert Bell mentions reports that Prince William is now considered to be the new royal power enforcer, and Harry therefore needs to apologise to restore his relationship with his brother.

I signed the petition to delete Harry from the Pat Tillman Award and canceled ESPN from my cable (which they charged me extra for having) and wrote ESPN telling them all about my actions regarding their actions. Well O.K., ESPN says that the award is being given in honor of Harry’s association with Invictus. Let me throw out some whataboutisms out there. What about the bills for private jet travel and deluxe accommodations the couple racks up on the Invictus dime. What about using the organization as a runway for the Duchess to parade around in designer duds. What about a woman who has had no affiliation with the military thinking that it is her proper place to lead real soldiers marching in formation. What about using your presence at the games to cozy up to the Nigerian team in order to score an all expense paid trip to a country where most suffer in poverty. Mrs. Tillman is correct. Her son’s fine name should not be associated with this shameful awarding.

Some people seem to forget all that H$M have done from the beginning. It didn’t start with Oprah. It was just Netflix and the book. There is so much more to it that goes beyond just a rift in the family that needs mending. They have caused political and social problems. They caused problems with staff. ESPN can tell people all day that the Invictus games are deserving but they are not giving the award to the Invictus games organization. Harry was one of the founders, he is a patron. He is supposed to be shining a light on the work of others not taking credit for it. I’m surprised ESPN isn’t giving it to Harry and Meghan.
I thought I couldn't respect him any less, but this has done it. I wouldn't wonder why his reputation is in the gutter - can't they see how bad this looks? I am sick to death of people judging Princess' Beatrice and Princess Eugenie based on their father. These two young women have proved themselves in recent years. They hold jobs, they are mothers and wives. Harry (refusing to recognize any title he does not deserve) when arguing megxit said well Beatrice and Eugenie are half in and half out. THEY WORK. They are not lazy. Princess Beatrice and Edo are quickly becoming my favorite Royal couple. Now onto the ESPY. Harry does not deserve this award. This is an insult to Pat Tillman who put his life on the line for his country (giving up riches and fame) for our country. Harry deserted his county and maligned it by calling it racist. He is a disgusting human being and I use that term loosely. He went from being my favorite royal to lower than dirt in my opinion. Sorry for the nastiness but as an American I deserve to have my say.

Harry's too dim to realize that he is being used for exposure for organizations like ESPN and the Living Legend Awards. Sorry but I am tired of hearing about him 'serving in Afghanistan'. Sure he was stationed there but he was NEVER in any danger. He never experienced combat and was protected by Royal protection officers - and ghurkas - he did nothing exceptional.So what -My grandfather, godfather, uncles, aunts, cousins (one who flew The Stealth during the Iraq war) - including my brother who served for six years. Harry's not even an athlete. He abandoned his duties and country for lucrative deals while Pat Tillman abandoned lucrative contracts to serve his country.
And who cares about those actors from 'Suits'? Wow, sounds fascinating to have them on a podcast.
