- I left my husky home alone, and this is what happened. Our dog Memphis had to go to the vet for a checkup, and with the state of the world, I couldn't bring our dog Kira along, which I normally do. So our dog was home alone, without her sister (don't worry, Jamie was home). My dogs reaction to being home alone was so priceless! My husky was so lost with out her sister being there. I thought leaving my dog home alone would turn into her destroying everything, and boy was I wrong! My dog reacts to being left home alone with a lot of howling! She was so happy when we brought Memphis back!

I'm pretty sure that my Norwegian Elk Hound Mojo just fell in love. As you know, Elk Hounds don't howl, they bark loudly. I think Mojo barked the words " major babes." I'm not quite sure, as I'm not fluent in Norwegian. But his curly tail sure was wagging!
I am impressed with Kira. When left alone she didn't destroy anything, she just expressed her feelings verbally.
Yes! She is sooo well-behaved! With all that husky energy & anxiety on top of that, no one could blame her if she had taken it out on her surroundings.

I think Kira is the perfect younger sister to Memphis: Trying to pick on her here and there but her world is only right when her big sister is there with her. That's a really precious bond!
I know. The best part is is that Memphis was never bothered by it.
There once was a poor pupperoo. When alone she'd send long-distance woos. For when mom and her bro to the vet they would go, she would howl so her fam she'd not lose.
That's so cute when Kria tries sooo hard to communicate to her sister and keeps trying when she hears no response.

I didn't show it on the video, but in the hour we were gone, Jamie came tried to get her to stop howling, and she could have cared less that he was home with her.

I think Kira was actually grieving for Memphis. All she knows is that there's no sister with her. Doesn't know when, or even if, Memphis is returning. That house may seem empty without her.

I love hearing her voice but I felt so sad even though logically I knew she was quite fine. Maybe it’s the human part that gives way to thinking how she must have felt. I don’t my cats miss me at work lol

Kira and Memphis are both very sweet dogs. Memphis is cuddly and well-behaved. Kira is full of puppy antics and always there to cheer you up. They really do love each other! Such beautiful girls!

Shelby taught her how to dig.
Shelby and Memphis taught her how to run, but especially Memphis. And Memphis also taught her how to snuggle and love.
Memphis and Shelby also taught her how to have adorable puppy eyes and face. to make sure to look innocent. LOL.

That’s a true husky voicing her concern lol. They are by far the most social breed of dog. Mine used to have me so filled with guilt I barely went anywhere just to prevent the doggy tears!! Your dogs are so very cute!
