@God Fist Revamped AE with skill note and in awakening is incredibly powerful for a 150mp SA with decent freeze frame, low mp feed, and large knockdown reduction. X-crash has been overall nerfed in damage and lost utility/range with burning rush being changed so you can't get a large distance covered with it anymore. Both have different purposes, even now after this video was made I went back to AE as it really is the better skill. But I rarely EVER use it, and am wishing I had xcrash in stead haha.
Elizabeth Makary The best SD set for basically everyone is 5-x, the glitter set. 6-x ancient guardian is also pretty good for most, but the sheer amount of healing a raven can pull off with 5-x and core refund is immense.
I have no idea at all about the new henir sets. They're so impossibly stupid to get now that I never even bothered to look at them. Regardless, 5-x is nearly game breaking in terms of how good it is in arena.

I'd be glad to help you in game as well but heres some input. Mmm Well here's the deal. RF IS the berserker class really, he's all about awakening and burst damage. I just like to combo/xdrop with him lol. While you can get away with 20% attack speed, he is slower than the other Ravens, especially BM with his free 5% un-normalized attack speed passive. It's up to you to get over 20% if you want, I'm content with 20.5% because Im decently swift with raven combo mechanics to give myself the illusion of higher attack speed. That being said stats are almost the same for most people, for pvp you'd want atleast 20% in all speeds. 25-40% crit. Atleast 3k+ add damage(preferably higher) Atleast 25% reduce damage. Now here's the clincher, you're gonna need awakening charge. Lots of it. Either socket atleast 25% or get in a guild with wrath passive(crazy good). I frown upon RoF but it really is the best bang for your buck ring, up to you to get it, will help ALOT(but its 4n0skillqueers.) Other than that, its up to you to decide your own play style. Awakened charged bolt hedgehog noted constantly for burst/free catches are pretty effective way to play RF but also damn ugly and boring imo. Awakened Noted AE can decimate HP when your opp is low on mp, can also help win hit trades. If you plan to use advanced combos like xdrops dont get explosive fist passive, get the other one. Armor break vs weapon break is preference, but armor break + explosive fist passive + xx>xx is pretty damn strong, and in the future it will be RF's crazy BnB combo. Can you atleast give me some insights as to which class is much more suited to pvp and dungeons(I like to dungeon grind xD) I have a Wind Sneaker who is at rank S btw :)

Honestly they both do PvE really well, and at my best I've been able to do great with both but then again there's very few characters who can't do well in pve. VC isn't really any magnitude of difficulty harder than RF, but the biggest difference is their ability for advanced play and set ups, if thats a thing for you. I used it alot .-. didn't you see? lol It has very high KD so it doesnt have a point unless you run wind or xdrop. So my usual set up is to do that combo into a circle step into >>^zxx ^vx ,... TOTALLY NOT RIPPED FROM MURU

This will be a deserved nerf.
Ah there is pretty much no...calculating anymore lol. I just kept xdropping to reset the KD. Well atleast it gets fixed in the future, infinites are never a good thing. Oh also thats a BH.

I don't know if RF is just too strong, but I'm a PvE guy, and I've never done PvP before, but recently I decided to make a RF, and he just does insane amounts of damage. Like, I have under level gear but I'm always getting MVP because of how much damage I do, and in PvP, I got to A rank around level 30-40. So idk if it's a RF thingy of something else spooky is going on...
Tried both, went with Burning hand. Exploding hand is inferior for a few reasons but has its pros. Pros: Pretty nice damage even for RNG passive. If it keeps procing can result in crazy damage fist combos. Doesn't change fists to magical, so meshes VERY well with armor break. Pretty effect that looks even prettier after revamp. Cons: Changes fists hitstun to its own hitstun, which is VERY low. People can disrupt xx>xx combos if they're fast enough. The hitstun it gives also ruins x-drops and the launches before them, hence why I HATE it. Requires armor break to be on opponent to outdamage Burning Hand instead. You COULD actually go with neither, if you want to abuse armor break well and keep xdrops viable. Still debating what I'm going to chose after RF revamp. Seeing as our BnB combo might actually become xx>xx...welp atleast Im running Wind shenanigans I won't have to worry about KD.
XD honestly I tried weapon crash but I plan to switch on the 1st of the month but yeah I still love exploding hand also I'm tanking my RF so I kind of try at least 1 300 cost don't ask y XD I like to risk a loss sometimes but ring of fury is hot on RF so it allows me to start combos when necessary

Seeing as i still am not very good at PvP (my main character is level 50 Grand Archer in rank A) i think that i will stick with RF for the time being. MilkyPoint l Haha, thanks man, and just out of curiosity, are you a big fan of GA or are they just very hard to use in PvP? From what i know, they are one of the hardest PvP classes in the game.
UrMenace I love GA, most people don't know this but my Rena was originally GA lool. And i've become interested in her again basically after she had most of her problems solved and is now a viable 1v1 class. Also don't let others fool you with a class not being high tier being hard to play. ALL the Renas are easy to play. It's just GA is the least viable for 1v1, she's still a monster in the catching department once she gets orbs. She can litter the entire screen with orb stunning arrows, it's fun as hell lool.
Too long D: But that's because I'm lazy. If you run secrets every day on hell it should only take about a month from scratch. MUCH LESS if you buy the elite set to save you time. waa.ai/4TEh
MP regeneration? Probably core refund from when my awakening runs out. Can give up to 100mp back including HP. But elsword can far surpass that with vitality mode, always aim for it.
I assumed MP regeneration from random moments in the game, not when hitting things. So I explained that when Raven awakens he gets a nasod core that follows him. It can be used to attack with but when your awakening runs out, depending on how large the core was, you gain hp/mp. Eve also has the same system.
I'm totally subbing you, so I can watch good pointers for RF tactics against all those classes. @ w @ Like for VC spamming that Flame Sword (Noted), it annoyed me the most. :c Well I'll learn from you from your videos! :D

Seriously the power is stupid lolol, losing >>^zxx launch sucks but he's the same for the most part and is still pretty fun. >>^zx seems to have lost a bit of it's anti-air properties, so it's not viable as a mid air catch anymore. Only good at low altitude to ensure both hits in, the spikes are a joke but fun to mess around with. xx>xx~ combo is...nice as fk and at anypoint in the middle of that combo you can hold down and go right into the spike uppercut, so thats nice. But yeah, Ill get some S3 RF up soon.
Build: waa.ai/4TEh AE vs X-crash is preference. It's also a hybrid pvp/pve build. n' my stats at the time of recording are in the description, future videos will have my updated stats.
Core refunds hp/mp when it goes away when raven's awakening ends, depending on how big it is when it leaves. 5x set combined with that and good awk charge can make you very survivable.
i might take some pointers from future skill builds on my RF im grinding i have to get a ring of fury and b-slot then buy the new costume cruise set that came out.XD gonna look fine
Get exploding nasod hand passive, then you don't need to socket any crit. Stack pure add while ofc getting the minimum for pvp, 20% speeds and 30%+ red. HP is fine as long as you're around 190k+ This is level 70 cap ofc.

Yeah it's actually damn good burst, it just need good positioning. I haven't used it in years but I'm pretty sure it's still the same, get the skill note and then use a >>x. Wait a second for them to flinch back then use cannon blade for maximum hits, does insane damage.

I use wind simply because I love hard hitting combos, especially with my RF's 100% crit XX~ combos. I'd say the best attribute for RF in pvp would be Water. Ive tried fire III on him in s1-2 pre st revamp, it didn't work well. I plan to try it again and see how well it goes.

Either way it doesn't matter. KoG literally knows nothing about their own characters, I can assure you basically all those ratings are wrong. Hell even their stat ratings are wrong.
As a beginner I chose the absolute worst class to pick...raven blade master. Ugh now I'm level 65, rank b and I'm so terrible at this game. I heard that elsword's lord knight class is great for beginners though...
Ignore Me Mmm.. Both Blade Master and Lord Knight arent great class for beginners because they demand so much of you to be able to fully optimize and play them at their best compared to other classes. Though imo, you're doing a great thing. I wish for everyone to pick up and play BM or LK. I feel it'd give everyone a good feel for the way pvp works and build them up nicely simply BECAUSE those classes demand things of you to play well.
MilkyPoint l yeah I realized this fact when I got to sword taker. It took me 2 days to figure out how to do the zzz^zx combo, but that combo only loops in pve, in pvp it knocks them down so that's a bust. I still haven't even figured out how to do a Quickstep and I don't even know what an x drop is. I've been able to spam a combo I taught myself but it gives my opponent WAY to much mp.
Actually zzz^zx is a viable combo in pvp and lowers the knock down value through an xdrop. Literally just look for blade master play on youtube and try to emulate them in some way. Oh and an xdrop is basically any input thats ^x usually part of an advanced combo which has benefits of higher damage and lowering KD.
Yeah I love how every single Raven in PvP just ^ Z to cath the oponent, is like if there arent any other way to star a combo, also if you dont move they look ridiculus just jumping and attacking and they are all angry like "hey you evader yet you dont let me catch you" hahaha

Ah yeah my timing with xdrops is good enough I guess haha. Been a RF since release. And I agree combos with style are a good thing to strive for, pushes you farther.
Also KoG did nerf KD resets in the future with S3 pvp. That being said...a few people can still infinite.
Yep, now it will be hard to KD reset for the people who abuses. Especially LK, cause with the last revamp air slash does not exist, but now he has fukking revamped windmill that sucks as sheet xD

I don't know if RF is just too strong, but I'm a PvE guy, and I've never done PvP before, but recently I decided to make a RF, and he just does insane amounts of damage. Like, I have under level gear but I'm always getting MVP because of how much damage I do, and in PvP, I got to A rank around level 30-40. So idk if it's a RF thingy of something else spooky is going on...
qq how come your rf seems so much faster than mine and my rf has a little more attack speed than yours
also on the lvl 45 passives did you do the exploding nasod hand or the other i did the exploding and love it
Tried both, went with Burning hand. Exploding hand is inferior for a few reasons but has its pros.
Pros:
Pretty nice damage even for RNG passive. If it keeps procing can result in crazy damage fist combos.
Doesn't change fists to magical, so meshes VERY well with armor break.
Pretty effect that looks even prettier after revamp.
Cons:
Changes fists hitstun to its own hitstun, which is VERY low. People can disrupt xx>xx combos if they're fast enough.
The hitstun it gives also ruins x-drops and the launches before them, hence why I HATE it.
Requires armor break to be on opponent to outdamage Burning Hand instead.
You COULD actually go with neither, if you want to abuse armor break well and keep xdrops viable.
Still debating what I'm going to chose after RF revamp. Seeing as our BnB combo might actually become xx>xx...welp atleast Im running Wind shenanigans I won't have to worry about KD.
XD honestly I tried weapon crash but I plan to switch on the 1st of the month but yeah I still love exploding hand also I'm tanking my RF so I kind of try at least 1 300 cost don't ask y XD I like to risk a loss sometimes but ring of fury is hot on RF so it allows me to start combos when necessary
Problem being that RF doesn't have much over 150mp to tank for effectively. WC is pretty weak after multiple nerfs, VJ is meh for damage. GS and Nuke...lol instant mp breaks. Awakened + noted arch enemy is still pretty damn good with damage now, so I guess there's that.

As a person who has just started on a Raven and is currently trying to decide what class to go as, how would you say that RF is? I have been leaning more towards using RF and from what i can see it completely kicks butt in PVP. From your experiences, how would someone who is relatively new to using Raven go with a RF and it's prior job class?
Lets uhh adress something. RF's strength in pvp is high, probably the highest of the Ravens currently minus special actives. VC still basically controls that, with RF's awakened skill noted Arch Enemy being a great contender.
Now as you put it "as a person who has jsut started Raven" you'd love RF. You'd love his power, and his newly revamped XX combos being easy and stronk,
But then we get to the annoying part. It's been troubling high tier RFs for a little while.
They've basically made RF too easy in some cases and removed a fair bit of his advanced techniques an combos. While they are still there, you won't get the feeling of reward playing him as say... Blade Master.
Granted like I said, this will only really occur to you once you've got the character down pat and are a good player and you'll notice that he doesnt have nearly as much leeway as the other ravens for advanced play.
He's by all means a berserker and rush in with super armor frames type character now. He'll still retain his base raven swift movements and cancels, but ...
Yeah thats about it. I still enjoy him, but when I hop on my BM and I can just whip out multiple advanced combos while RF has like ...1 maybe 2?
All up to you whether you enjoy advanced/skilled play or just want to win and beat down the opponent.
I'll eventually have some S3 pvp up with RF and you'll be able to see his bread and butter combos(easyness) and his few remaining advanced combos.
Holy mother of god this was a long response and i greatly appreciate it too! Seeing as i still am not very good at PvP (my main character is level 50 Grand Archer in rank A) i think that i will stick with RF for the time being.

MilkyPoint l Haha, thanks man, and just out of curiosity, are you a big fan of GA or are they just very hard to use in PvP? From what i know, they are one of the hardest PvP classes in the game.
UrMenace I love GA, most people don't know this but my Rena was originally GA lool. And i've become interested in her again basically after she had most of her problems solved and is now a viable 1v1 class.
Also don't let others fool you with a class not being high tier being hard to play.
ALL the Renas are easy to play.
It's just GA is the least viable for 1v1, she's still a monster in the catching department once she gets orbs. She can litter the entire screen with orb stunning arrows, it's fun as hell lool.
How long did it take you to get 5/5 5-x set? And could you show me your skill tree?

MP regeneration? Probably core refund from when my awakening runs out. Can give up to 100mp back including HP.
But elsword can far surpass that with vitality mode, always aim for it.

I assumed MP regeneration from random moments in the game, not when hitting things.
So I explained that when Raven awakens he gets a nasod core that follows him. It can be used to attack with but when your awakening runs out, depending on how large the core was, you gain hp/mp. Eve also has the same system.
I'm totally subbing you, so I can watch good pointers for RF tactics against all those classes. @ w @ Like for VC spamming that Flame Sword (Noted), it annoyed me the most. :c Well I'll learn from you from your videos! :D

Seriously the power is stupid lolol, losing >>^zxx launch sucks but he's the same for the most part and is still pretty fun. >>^zx seems to have lost a bit of it's anti-air properties, so it's not viable as a mid air catch anymore. Only good at low altitude to ensure both hits in, the spikes are a joke but fun to mess around with.
xx>xx~ combo is...nice as fk and at anypoint in the middle of that combo you can hold down and go right into the spike uppercut, so thats nice.
But yeah, Ill get some S3 RF up soon.

Core refunds hp/mp when it goes away when raven's awakening ends, depending on how big it is when it leaves. 5x set combined with that and good awk charge can make you very survivable.

Get exploding nasod hand passive, then you don't need to socket any crit. Stack pure add while ofc getting the minimum for pvp, 20% speeds and 30%+ red.
HP is fine as long as you're around 190k+
This is level 70 cap ofc.

Yeah it's actually damn good burst, it just need good positioning.
I haven't used it in years but I'm pretty sure it's still the same, get the skill note and then use a >>x. Wait a second for them to flinch back then use cannon blade for maximum hits, does insane damage.

I use wind simply because I love hard hitting combos, especially with my RF's 100% crit XX~ combos.
I'd say the best attribute for RF in pvp would be Water. Ive tried fire III on him in s1-2 pre st revamp, it didn't work well. I plan to try it again and see how well it goes.
As a person that has mained RF, I can't 'combo/spam attack' for sht. I just run around like an idiot hoping to get kills.

In case some of u don't know, he reason he ran into the fire on purpose tto get mp when he battled the VC.
Great tactic, can easily get 200mp/awk bead with only around 5% hp loss.

As a beginner I chose the absolute worst class to pick...raven blade master. Ugh now I'm level 65, rank b and I'm so terrible at this game. I heard that elsword's lord knight class is great for beginners though...

Mmm.. Both Blade Master and Lord Knight arent great class for beginners because they demand so much of you to be able to fully optimize and play them at their best compared to other classes.
Though imo, you're doing a great thing. I wish for everyone to pick up and play BM or LK. I feel it'd give everyone a good feel for the way pvp works and build them up nicely simply BECAUSE those classes demand things of you to play well.
MilkyPoint l yeah I realized this fact when I got to sword taker. It took me 2 days to figure out how to do the zzz^zx combo, but that combo only loops in pve, in pvp it knocks them down so that's a bust. I still haven't even figured out how to do a Quickstep and I don't even know what an x drop is. I've been able to spam a combo I taught myself but it gives my opponent WAY to much mp.
Actually zzz^zx is a viable combo in pvp and lowers the knock down value through an xdrop. Literally just look for blade master play on youtube and try to emulate them in some way.
Oh and an xdrop is basically any input thats ^x usually part of an advanced combo which has benefits of higher damage and lowering KD.
