This video is just really cute despite the deaths. Nintendo's quirkiness and attention to detail is something to cherish. The way the Amiibo bring characters together is beautiful. These are fun times as a long time fan of games.
To anyone that complains about the Star Fox character sound effects, they're from the original Star Fox on the Super NES, which (call me old, I don't care) deserves way more attention than SF64.
Now that I think about it, they missed a prime opportunity to make toad have some of the music from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, or maybe some Super Mario 3D World music. It's just a small oversight, but it may have made at least the Toad costume a little bit more desirable. :3

Why no unique death song for Shulk? He has a unique victory song, unlike the Pokémon who have no sounds whatsoever. Granted, there aren't a lot of things that really work as a "death song" in that game, but they could've just pulled the last few piano notes at the end of Engage the Enemy. That's certainly a song associated with death in that game.
