Another epic effort Paul. The robust commitment and resilience to complete a race like this is so admirable. Actually, not just the race. The videography and editing must take a lot too. But it really is so entertaining. Just know that your efforts are very much appreciated. Definitely deserving of a couple of beers. As a big thank you for the ongoing content. Have a fabulous Christmas my friend. Looking forward to more adventures in the new year. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Aw man!! Too kind! But cheers to that 🍻 So glad you enjoyed the video and yeah... The run is only half the challenge!! 😂 I've got a few videos lined up to keep me going over winter so indeed, plenty more to come!! Thanks again!
Paul and everyone involved, what an epic achievement in an epic place with epic people around you. Thanks for sharing parts of your adventure with us, just wow! Thanks, helps a lot!
Fantastic video. I did TOR 330 this year too. Coming from Southeast Asia without cold weather, I love those incredble snow moment. Really felt like mountaineering. And I finished in different hours (116h hours) so many places you did in the daylight I did in the dark (like Col Malatra). So it was great to relive the moments again, seeing what I was missing. Thank you. I will watch this video again when I run on treadmill.
Well done in finishing in such a great time! Yeah it would interesting to go back and do the race again, a bit faster to see all the places I missed during the night! So glad you enjoyed the video!! 🙌
Superb achievement and filming. Can feel the tiredness. But the sightseeing stays at an incredible level to give a real feel for the event. Well done! Thanks for taking us with you.
Wow! What a epic journey you took us all on! Incredible footage, breathtaking scenery & terrain, beautiful & brutal! Well done! Amazing & so inspiring. 🏃💪
You absolute legend, what an epic adventure dude, can’t believe how strong you looked through out. Simply awesome. Thanks for sharing. Jeeez I want this one.
What an amazing video and such an unbelievable achievement stunning scenery and what an amazing experience it must have been I really hope your friends made a full recovery, scary to be in that situation.. very well done!
What a brilliant race video! Congrats on the finish and amazing that you managed to film the whole thing with such a positive attitude. Another new subscriber added!
Thank you so much, so glad to hear you enjoyed the video!! I think the filming helps as it's a good distraction from the running, esp when it gets hard. Plus another motivation to keep going and get to the finish!!
@ you must be chuffed you have the video to look back on! I echo the comments about a video on training / nutrition / gear / how to get your body into a position where it can withstand >100hrs! TOR is a bucket list race and your account is one of the only ones where it looks like you managed to enjoy the majority of it without it becoming a slog! So I bet there would be some golden knowledge that you could pass on
@@TheRandomRunner I'm hoping to get a place next year - would be great to get some tips if I'm lucky in the ballot. A "tips for running TDG video would be popular I think"
Wow Paul, what a journey and to keep on recording whilst tackling that amazing race, thank you for taking us along for the ride, so inspirational, I thought the LL100 run was epic but this was a whole other level, onto the next adventure, all the very best.
Incredible...not only a brilliant achievement, but the journey you recorded is a thing of beauty...I'm not a film / TH-cam person, but this should be up for an award.
Stumbled across your channel and wow what a great video ! Congratulations amazing achievement! I am now a fan and subscriber to your channel. Thank you for sharing 👍🏼🏃🏻♂️💪🏼
Been looking forward to this for weeks and it was absolutely incredible. Felt like I was watching a movie it had so much. Landscapes, views, weather, steep climbs and descents, tears and fatigue. But above all you maintained that infectious positivity which embodies every one of your videos. Absolute legend 👏👏👏👏
WOW Paul! One word for that; EPIC!!! Amazing effort man. 💪 Love seeing your real highs and lows and all the ups and downs. 😎 Your mental resilience and positivity is awesome. You deserve a pint mate so have one on me. 😜😎Cheers. 🤟🏼
Aw man, thanks so much 🍺 !! Really means alot and great to get the positive feedback as well! Glad u enjoyed the video and seeing the highs and lows, it certainly brought it back going through all the footage!!
Tremendous adventure. Such a great insight. I’m always beyond impressed with ur attitude, cognition and ability to film whilst things get tough. Well done, man.
Thank you! There was one part where I was so tired I just had to shove the gopro in the straps of my bag and just talked away utter nonsense 😂 took quite a bit of editing to make any sense of that bit!!
Congratulations on your finish Paul, incredible effort! Also, great work filming through it all - I've seen a couple of videos previously covering the Tor des Geants, but I think you really did it justice of the terrain, the range of weather conditions and the highs & lows over 48hrs, so thanks for persevering with the footage!
Thanks again for you kind comment! I must admit it does get harder to keep the filming up, esp in the last quarter, even just keeping up with charging the batteries is extra effort 😂 Really glad you enjoy this one. Hope you've settled back into UK life and running!
Thank you! Yeah absolutely, there are so many bits on a race like this that are hard to remember! Also a good reminder of how hard it is should I ever be tempted to do it again 😂
Great video Paul! Been following you during your race. I did the race myself in 2018 and I relived my ups and downs. What an adventure it was! Its hard to comprehend even after all these years.
Wow what an adventure. I was wandering and hoping you had videod it- surpassed yourself- fantastic coverage and presentation. Thanks for dropping it. And very well done- what a feat of endurance.
Another great video, with plenty of ups and down . Great touch to see your friend at 1 of the stops after being taken to hospital.well done on completing such an iconic race and would you do it again
Thanks so much, glad u enjoyed it!! Yeah it was a real nice surprise to see Gavin after he disappeared off! I prefer not to go back and do races again... Part of the appeal is heading into the unknown, plus plenty of other races and places to explore!
Absolutely incredible sir! I’m training for a 50 miler and now have no room to complain after watching this lo! Truly an inspiration🙏🏽
Thank you so much for your comment, means alot to hear, I really appreciate it! Good luck with your 50 miler. I always say they is no easy running... Just different levels of hard! It's all about just embracing the challenge!
Hey Paul, Amazing film on the the Tor. Your Cape Wrath video inspired me to do it last year, I can honestly say the Tor terrain looks a little out my comfort zone. Well done you.
Well done on doing Cape Wrath!! That's a race I'd like to go back to one day! Yeah the Tor is a different thing altogether.... Mostly from the sleep point of view! Scenery is stunning!
I enjoyed meeting with you as well... Funny how many times we saw each other! Hope you enjoyed the video and it brought back some memories of the race!
Wow Paul! Where do I start?? That was absolutely incredible, what an huge achievement in such an iconic setting!! That was hardcore mate and you captured it absolutely beautifully. Showing the highs and lows of endurance racing, So sorry to hear about Gavin and Brent. Good to see Gavin at the finish line, supporting Kevin and you. It really is scary about how much can go wrong in these events, even the rolling of your ankle early on could have been a massive blow. Well done for pushing on though in true RANDOM RUNNER STYLE. You are such a huge inspiration and I know several people including myself, take so much from them. Well done once again and a massive congratulations on completing the Tor Des Geants.
Aw mate, what a lovely comment!! Well I just want you to know that getting such nice feedback about my videos really means alot. To know that I'm motivating and inspiring people means everything. And in a funny way it motivates and inspires me to keep pushing myself and continue filming my adventures! Ps.... Glad u enjoyed the video!! 😀
Incredible achievement and fantastic video- thanks for producing. I could not survive on that lack of sleep. Can’t believe you had the energy to narrate to camera. Not a single moan either. Well done.
Well done Paul - you are an inspiration with what you do - I need to get over my injury and start doing these races!! I hope Gavin has recovered from his health issue

Hey man!! Glad you thought it was good, worried it was a bit long!! Haha, tor450... Fortunately I missed the cut off for that one by 2 hours so it's not an option, which tbh I didn't really fancy anyway. It's like a bigger, more remote, less supported version for the 330!
@@TheRandomRunner Hi Paul. Your video was amazing, as what your effort was!! That is some huge mileage 👊🏻. I have enjoyed all of your content and look forward to seeing more 👌🏻
What an absolutely incredible achievement! And a truly wonderful video.
