What do you think? Is main character energy helpful?

Where have you been all my life?!!
Love love this advice and I am definitely going to apply it in my life. I have done some of these things before but I didn’t have a term for them. I have heard about “main character energy” before, but I had never put aside the time to actually fully understand it. This video has helped with that. Keep doing what you’re doing. ❤

Romanticising your life is so effective as a positive mental health strategy and this video has inspired me to get back into doing that. I went through a period of doing it but then I got really bad fatigue and health stuff and kind of fell off. This makes me want to get back into it and has such a soft gentle vibe as a video. Thank you 💜

The first time I ever heard of Main Character Syndrome it was in a mocking way and I was like, "Why shouldn't they be the main character of their own life?" I get that some people are like that in a """narcissistic""" way, but people mock others who just exist in the world in an abnormal way and then make fun of them for it. It's bullying "weird" people, but repackaged and rebranded; bullying but making it "okay" by calling people's weirdness automatically attention-seeking because THEY paid attention to it. It's so strange.
Anyway, great video and tips! ❤

I try to incorporate main character energy once in awhile.. it's funny because I have a friend who says I'm the main character in her head. she works with disabled kids its a stress reliever.

Ok since I'm already here binging your videos (and loving every second of it), I have a question! How do we figure out goals? In my past, I've had lots of success with working towards them (including visualisation and manifestation practices) but currently my life feels void, because of the lack of ... well, goals. I don't know what "I want". Could you make a video on how to figure out ones own damn goals? BABES, WHERE WE GOING?
P.S.: This might be very normal. I'm probably in a sort of in-between state in my life generally, and maybe midlife crisis just came early? Signed, an exhausted 33 year old.

It IS very normal. What I recommend is start with how you want to feel and work backwards. If you want to feel less restricted, what will help you get there? How can you start experiencing it right now? Most of the time so seemingly “shallow” pursuit such as money or weight loss is actually the pursuit of a very deep and important emotion, such as feeling secure or feeling lovable/worthy/attractive. (Also, craving clarity is a “want”)

Omg I love that! 🫶🏻 I like to think of goals and self care as waves. They ebb and flow. You were at low tide for a minute. Now it’s high tide time!
