@@moonlightespt3818 I thoroughly disagree. While Lara’s C5s are undoubtedly rounded and resonant, they don’t necessarily stand out against other singers of that calibre. Both Whitney and Celine are more explosive on that note. F#5 is also a great note for her like in Je Suis malade, but it actually isn’t consistently resonant there. Her sustained E5s however, are matched by nobody other than sohyang.

Can you please react to a singer called Faouzia. She’s most definitely one of the best vocalists this generation has to offer. Her range is super incredible, she can go really low and high like crazy, and her hv/falsetto, riffs and runs?!! Her agility is literally unheard of. And her lyrics are just as wonderful. Every single song of hers are all meaningful masterpieces.

I don’t think it’s fair to compare Ariana and Beyoncé. Beyoncé is a full dramatic mezzo. while Ariana is a light lyric soprano. They’re gonna peak at different places. Mezzos should be more resonant especially in the mids which are their sweet spot. Up til like D5. D or Eb is where the sopranos should start to really blossom and their resonance shines there

@@Supcharged that’s just crazy! I was reminded of how many goosebumps I could get from Mariah singing Def Leppard’s “Bringing On the Heartbreak”, but her prime is done. She did not take proper care of her instrument and Whitney Houston did the same thing. Such greatness destroyed. My personal favorite Celine has at least managed to take better care of her voice and still have a great career even after her prime years. Love them all though, that’s my childhood and teen years!!!
