I spent a number of holiday's in Ardara as a little boy. I was in an orphanage from the age of two to sixteen in Dublin. The McHugh family had a daughter Helen who was a nurse in Crumlin children's hospital Dublin. They were a lovely family and they took me several times. Ardara was a very small town then but it's looks to have grown since then. I would be talking around 1968/69. I think there was Mum and Dad, two boys and Helen. I remember Nancy;s and there was a little snug bar out the back.
