Just beautiful Lisa... I love these scenes and the work you put into them is incredible... I would have that on my bedroom wall any day and although I have the stamps I don't have the patient to do something that size... I am wondering about how you make the matting around the edges which beautifully frames your artwork. Perhaps a video worthy tip for us?
I have shown it in a couple of videos before. All it is - a black card matt followed by a wider piece of coloured card drawn from the colours of the picture. Finally another slim black Matt. I use a large guillotine too large to go on camera. I never measure just go by eye. I will try to explain this soon in a video to come. 😀

Stunning…I have some Tombow markers but wondering what colors zig markers you used? Can you color on top of distress oxide inks like you can with the acrylic sprays?Tia
Renee I used :
Pale dawn gray
Cool gray1
Gray tint
Natural beige
Brick beige
Blush
Yellow green
You can colour on top of oxides but as they are water based they may activate the oxides to oxidate slightly. It’s best to mask what you need to colour or colour on top of acrylic which will not mix with the zig pens or reactivate what is underneath. I hope that helps . ☺️
Gorgeous!!!! Are acrylic sprays like distress ink sprays?
Thank you. The sprays are acrylic which means when they are dry you can colour on top. The distress sprays are water based which means that any ink you place on top will mix with the colour of the spray . ☺️

Hi Lisa! I want to try the Zig markers and I was looking at a color chart. The browns confused me on the color chart because they all look very red. Can you tell me which ones you use to color the trees? Thanks! I want to order a couple to try them out.

love your art. I really wish you talked us through what you are doing. I would love to try the technique's. But find it hard to follow with out explaining what you are doing.
I do plan to do paid workshops in future where I will provide more instruction.
