Time and time again you show us that we don't need great art elements to generate it. Don't have a sketchbook? Let's use an old book as a support, don't we have decorative papers? let's reuse gift paper... don't we have brushes? then our fingers will help. Eternal thanks for being our inexhaustible source of inspiration.

This is the first time Ive seen one of your videos and I love that it’s just playing with no pressure to have a specific focal point. I’ve think that’s what stops me from creating is not having a plan for that. Love this as a way to create without expectations!!!

I attempted something similar to this the other day for the first time. My pages curled up, the colours smeared, the stencils lifted and the colours seeped underneath, and I only reached about 3 layers before I gave it up as a waste of time. All I have to show for it is a chalky mess of nothing. There is more to this than just plonking down colours, but no one ever tells all the useful stuff.

I am not sure if you have watched other videos on my channel but I do share lots of tips and tricks for working with lots of layers and working on cheaper/thin paper. Layering with lots of different supplies and messy layers take practice and time to figure out a balance between how far you can go with all those supplies and when to stop. The thing that always works no matter if it is your first time or if you work with lots of supplies and layers is always letting each layer dry in between. I have an old hair dryer next to me and I dry those layers before I add more.

    Absolutely brilliant! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Just one thing - top left page, above the mandala, the white ‘smear’ over the black snake dotted with white, was crying out for some black dots. I was willing you to put some on there! 😂

Layers and layers of beauty and creative energy. Do you use ink and dip pen? I think it might be fun and resourceful to use dip pens/fountain pens = less throw-away pens. Just thinking.....

I'm curious about the big marker you use at the beginning to make the large rainbow and then the Sharpies. Do you find that drawing on paint damages the tips of the markers?
