I would just like to say that I went diving for the first time this past weekend on a nearby college campus. I was super nervous but ended up finding $100s of canned/dry goods (which I was in need of), a Sterilite storage container, laundry detergent/dryer sheets, a vacuum, a bag of clothes, a Swiffer, $11 in change, and more! Needless to say, I'm fully addicted now 😻
Not sure why everyone on here complaining about her not taking everything. She is specific on what she gets to sell or donate. She can’t take everything y’all! She is awesome at what she does so why complain!
I have seen people hang those cubby shelves horizontally over the washer and dryer. I like that idea. I bought a small bottle of leather cleaner. I use it on all the leather items before I photograph them. It really make the items look good and breaths new life into the leather items. My daughter has that lamp at college. It’s a good lamp. I think we got it at target. Good for you having the office in the garage. This little country home we bought three years ago doesn’t have a garage. It’s a carport. So I am Hoping to get my husband to close it in. I really need the room. I’m enjoying the Facebook group. So many cool finds. Thank you ! I hope you and Alex had a really nice day. God bless, Leslye
That stocking cap looked just like the ones my Mom made. She made dozens and dozens and dozens and donated all of them to whoever neededthem. It made my day thinking you were saving things just like she did!
The beautiful Indian clothes should not be thrown in the washer. The dyes usually run and you could not only ruin them (and they are expensive) but you may ruin everything in the washer. Mine is the voice of experience! Either hand wash in cold water (but then they need ironing to look nice) or sell as is and let buyer wash them. Can also be dry cleaned, but there goes your profit!
I went to school in Lubbock & did childcare for my nephews who were 2 & 4. I'd never seen a cicada before so was appalled to find the little one holding one. I said "put that down. It's dirty". Next day I come out to find him with another bug & MY toothbrush. He was so proudly saying "Buddy Queen!!" (bug is clean!) Ick.
I love when I find dumpster items that I can use. I found a couple big containers the other day to keep my crafting supplies in. I came home and washed them good with bleach and soap in hot water.
Everyone is correct in saying that was originally a cornice for drapes... it absolutely could be used as a wall mounted headboard. Great finds as usual Kelly. Thank you for saving it all & taking us along with you.
Hi Kelly Helen here from county Cork in Ireland the item you thought was a head board is actually a pelmet for a window to the best of my knowledge, keep diving kelly i look forward to seeing your treasures god bless sweetheart xxx
Well now beanze we're Irish and a cornice over here is something that goes into a corner, like coving that goes along a wall to ceiling and the cornice goes at the corner of the wall, did i explain that right 😁 but I'm sure you've been told on many occasions that the Irish are stone mad 🤪
You can always take the drawer out of the table and make it into a shelf, The piece that you are calling a headboard is for a window. It is like a valance
Heloo and happy to see you out & about. The high sitting chair your husband would have fun redesigning it with a thicker seat & back. I think you could almost hang the headboard on your wall as a piece of art it is cool. That table is cool & the sides are called drop leaf tables. The cubicle can be made sturdier by buying some 2 x 4's paint them white & criss cross them & nail them on. Have a wonderful time with your hubby. You are such a cool young lady & enjoy your videos & you found some nice items.
Hi, watched a couple of your vids and your enthusiasm is great. I wish more people did this. It would create less waste in the world. I haven't bought dog food in over 4 years because petsmart and petco throws out so much (Blue Buffalo, etc) so I've saved thousands of dollars and end up giving most away/donate to shelters. So bravo for all the work you do. Its a good feeling saving something from the landfill. Stay safe.
Your garage space could be centered around the rug. Display for the shelves, and the two chair could be used around the drop leaf table...depending on the height for a work station for computer.
You're an inspiration! It time to get off of the one time use and start repurposing. 👍 Years ago this is what you did with out-growns, and household pass-alongs. If it was new to you, it was new, and no one felt any the less for it.
The drop leaf table is cute! That item that could be a headboard that can go right onto the wall or it’s what they used to use as a window treatment sort of like a valance above the window
You can tack a piece of birch from one of the DIY stores to the back of the cubby cabinet to make it more stable and they will cut it to size for you. That thing you thought was a calculator is an old school personal assistant (knock of Blackberry). Will keep phone numbers, messages and you can set alarms on it.
I agree with one of the other comments use milk paint to paint some of your furniture finds it's a very popular thing and sells well and you can be able to get more money for your items. Keep the videos coming they are very inspirational and uplifting
The board that you think is a headboard, I think is a window cornice board for the top of the window. My mother use to make them. I am so happy you have the truck now so you can get more and different items.
Contrary to some other comments, it is a headboard that you mount on the wall., cornaces have ends on them to hide the curtain rods. The leather belt wasn't broke, they unsnap, so the buckle can be changed. GREAT HAUL !
Super Fun Day!! I See You Are Able To Get Some Bigger Things With The Truck Now!!! Also Super Cool Organization Cubes!!! Excited To See Your New Office Setup In The Garage!!! So Happy For Your Success And Happiness!!! 😃❤️👍
Lots of great stuff. We found some decent clothes and a pair of Converse shoes in a dumpster. So glad you have the truck to haul your finds in. I too was wondering what the rattling sound was. Glad they aren't rattlesnakes. Take care
Hi Kelly just found your videos and loving them your hubby and yourself are so much fun together it's awesome watching you and your dog well he is adorable best regards from the South East Coast of Ireland 🇮🇪 😀 😊 ☺ ❤
I get so excited when I see that you’ve up loaded a video!! I love your channel and I love love love how you show everything you got at the end of the video!!!
Kelly ....would like to give you tip on wooden furniture. Depending on colour of wood ... light brown dark brown . Get some shoe polish ( those little tins) and rub it into where it’s scratched , like that table I think light brown would be good. Pout some on scratches and polish it. I hope this helps. 😀
Super cool stuff today Kelly! Was so curious about the blue liquid in that bottle. Was it mouth wash? Also that gate where you walked in, there was so much stuff!! I would have opened the gate, drove in and collected so much more. Nice haul!
Dolla General has a product called "Mean Green" that cut grease so easy as well as removes .mold & mildew away. I use on outdoor furniture to get mildew off. Works fast and well.
I think you doing great! It is a A6 waterbottle so its easy to take to rhe office and stuff. I my country you can buy them for about 25 euros. I was wondering why you don't take te good stuff that you maybe can't sell buy leave in the truck so you can donate it? Like the iron board and and other clothes? Have a great day!
I was thinking if her husband refinishes furniture then he might be able to repurpose the leather belts as accent trim for some of his projects. I use old leather belts in some of my projects. Sometimes they get turned into strips to wrap handles.
Maybe Alex would want to repair that chair with the messed up seat by sewing a new seat or even doing something with macreme thread/rope. Just a thought and suggestion. Love, love, love your videos!
That ‘headboard’ in the uk is called a pelmet . It goes over a window with matching curtains. It’s a window treatment. Might sell as an upcycle craft project . Good finds.
That rug would have been nice to use with your tent for camping. Keeps dirt and leaves out of the tent and could have tent closer to campfire and put your chairs on it.
Oh my gosh I watch Cole The Cornstar, his family has a corn farm and he is always talking about the Ariet boots. Good find. He loves them. They are pleasing to the eye.
agreed and she takes no precautions while gathering the items. she has also taken things from the trash to her guest bed without washing. shes been lucky though. 1 bad case and she might dive differently. hopefully it never comes to that
☀️🍀. Hi Sweetheart wishing you the Best Day, Really nice cool day outside. Soooo I was thinking - that’s what I do. You should get you some Laundry Baskets or totes some tall garbage cans don’t buy them just find them like you do, maybe rinsing them out, and then stuck them up in the back your pick up that way you could take them with you and you don’t have to go looking for sack and it would just be much easier to sort when you got it all I think. Anyway so have a good day sweetie good luck it’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. 💜🧡💛💚💙 💝
The trunk would be great for storage and also as a coffee table. A great conversation piece as well. I would not let it go. Great for quilts, good for so many uses.
I believe that is a custom made curtain valance not a headboard...I could be wrong.. Missed not seeing Pilgrim... Love watching all you find at the college dorms...amazing the waste. Just be safe...
The thing you thought was a headboard I believe is a widow cornice. Like a valance... Great finds today!!!!
Sherri you are so correct. Valences and cornice board were big in the 80’s & 90’s
I agree, looks like a cornice to me too.
Definitely a window cornice👍🏽
It is a pelmets.
We call that a pelmet here in the Ireland and a valance is what u call a bed skirt

Whoa😲. 👌💪✌
Can what area or state? Just for curiosity/morale 😇
Are you still doing it?
You should get the blankets as well animal shelters take donations for old blankets and comforters
just a tip! I would be cautious of any furniture with a significant amount of little black dots on them, that is what bed bug poop looks like.
I just love your smile and how excited you get, I would have a blast helping you dive .
I'm telling you girl grab some of those tables and random furniture pant them in a rustic farmhouse vibe and you will be making some money .
@Big Mouth Strikes Again your name says it all
If she would just chalk paint that stuff good lord 🤦🏼♀️ $$$$$$$
@@AwakenOhSleeperGaming I'm tellin ya
Curious~did you ever get that large locked trunk unlocked?
Not sure why everyone on here complaining about her not taking everything. She is specific on what she gets to sell or donate. She can’t take everything y’all! She is awesome at what she does so why complain!
You are soooooo good at this! One man's trash, another man's treasure is the truth!❤️
No one man's poop is another man's diarrhoea

Yay your wearing the sneakers you found!! NIIIICEEEE❤️

Just an fyi canvases can usually be painted over. I’ve reused many of them.
I went to school in Lubbock & did childcare for my nephews who were 2 & 4. I'd never seen a cicada before so was appalled to find the little one holding one. I said "put that down. It's dirty". That's freaking adorable! I'd die laughing

Sweety keep the rug for your offuce in the garage. So your feet stay nice and warm in winter. Better than on concrete.
Big hug from Lenie.🤗🤗
That cube thing will be great horizontally. You could place sized clothing there all the S, M. L, XL etc. either stacked or in baskets/bins.
Hi Kelly! Keep up the good work! P.S. Would love to see a Cha-Ching video where you tell us what you sold and for how much. ❤️
Everyone is correct in saying that was originally a cornice for drapes... it absolutely could be used as a wall
mounted headboard.
Great finds as usual Kelly. Thank you for saving it all & taking us along with you.
I would make that into a headboard too, it's beautiful!!
Looks to be only twin sized, though.
Hi Kelly Helen here from county Cork in Ireland the item you thought was a head board is actually a pelmet for a window to the best of my knowledge, keep diving kelly i look forward to seeing your treasures god bless sweetheart xxx
In the US we call it a Cornice
Hey Im from Dublin!!
We call it a pelmet lol i posted and then seen ur post how cool, wouldnt it be so cool if we could do this
Hi Lisa Helen here from cork isent that gas how we are commenting on a girl from the US and you only 2 hours drive from me,,

You should have had a better look at the over flowing dumpster! When you walked away with just the little trash can I thought nooooooo 🤭😂😂 xx
Cornice board is usually custom made and goes over a window. That one was really nice!
Those 2 outfits and scarf were gorgeous! What a great haul Kelly! It’s really hot here in coastal Georgia. I know you are sweating in Texas!
The thing that you call a headboard is a Cornish for over a window.
You can always take the drawer out of the table and make it into a shelf, The piece that you are calling a headboard is for a window. It is like a valance

That map thing is a thing that goes above a window

Love that drop-leaf table - I can see someone loving that
The little drop leaf table is really pretty. I’ve no doubt someone will
buy that quickly.
The drop leaf table is cute! That item that could be a headboard that can go right onto the wall or it’s what they used to use as a window treatment sort of like a valance above the window
Girl you are the only person I’ve ever heard refer anything related to cicadas as cute. We have them in South Dakota too
You can tack a piece of birch from one of the DIY stores to the back of the cubby cabinet to make it more stable and they will cut it to size for you. THAT BROWN TABLE BREAKFAST IS 5OS 60S VINTAGE TABLE. LOTS OF PEOPLE LOVE VINTAGE STUFF. LOVE UR VIDEOS THANKZ SO MUCH FOR SHARING WITH ALL OF US.
I agree with one of the other comments use milk paint to paint some of your furniture finds it's a very popular thing and sells well and you can be able to get more money for your items. Keep the videos coming they are very inspirational and uplifting
I love your videos! You really find some great stuff. I love your cheerful demeanor! HAPPY HUNTING!
Those are the same as the chairs in my dining room! I love them! They’re lightweight and so easy to move
Wish you could put out more videos. Love watching you ..your so happy. Love seeing pilgram. . I have found some good stuff in dumpsters..
The board that you think is a headboard, I think is a window cornice board for the top of the window. My mother use to make them. I am so happy you have the truck now so you can get more and different items.
THAT is such a fun cornice! It looks really well made + your sneakers = coolness
The HEADBOARD is actually a Cornice...a wooden window valance. Was very popular in the 90s and generally custom made to fit the decor.
I restore furniture and pick up a lot of curbside finds. Love the drop leaf table
I'm glad you posted this dive. I hadn't seen it before. It was a great one, too!
the headboard is a valance that goes over a window, great finds

It's contagious 😊
Super Fun Day!! I See You Are Able To Get Some Bigger Things With The Truck Now!!! Also Super Cool Organization Cubes!!! Excited To See Your New Office Setup In The Garage!!! So Happy For Your Success And Happiness!!! 😃❤️👍
Hi I live in north Texas too and you just have the sweetest spirit!
Lots of great stuff. We found some decent clothes and a pair of Converse shoes in a dumpster. So glad you have the truck to haul your finds in. I too was wondering what the rattling sound was. Glad they aren't rattlesnakes. Take care
Yes that table with wings is awesome!! I had one larger table like that vintage.
I can’t believe how much clothes people throw away. I missed Pilgrim on this episode.
I think the wooden plaque with a hook is to display a small hanging plant
Lovely haul. Its a window pelmet not a head board. The fabric can be changed on it. You just need the right size window xx
Nice seeing you again have a good time with Alex and pilgrim enjoy your coffee see you soon
Park your truck right up beside the dumpster and use your truck bed as a step stool.
I love your vids! You find some of the cutest most interesting stuff!
Man...that rug would match my outdoor decor perfect!!! Nice score
Hi Kelly just found your videos and loving them your hubby and yourself are so much fun together it's awesome watching you and your dog well he is adorable best regards from the South East Coast of Ireland 🇮🇪 😀 😊 ☺ ❤
Great haul Kelly! I follow you on Poshmark too 🤩👍🏼♥️ I love that thing that goes on the wall, it could be a really cute headboard!
I get so excited when I see that you’ve up loaded a video!! I love your channel and I love love love how you show everything you got at the end of the video!!!
The "headboard" is a cornice box. It goes over the top of your window like a curtain
Kelly sorry your so Happy and optimistic- you captured me from day one , love the truck !!!!
I love it when you say "ta-da!" when you show something! So cute! 😂
I would have definitely took the little table with flaps and used it with the drawer facing the wall. It was so cute. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
I love how most of your videos has a Whataburger cup in it!
Super cool stuff today Kelly! Was so curious about the blue liquid in that bottle. Was it mouth wash? Also that gate where you walked in, there was so much stuff!! I would have opened the gate, drove in and collected so much more. Nice haul!
That wood hanging thing with a hook i have one with a little lantern hanging on it with battery operated tiny lights inside.
Over the past week i have just spent it binge watching your channel and so excited for a new video. Your a diamond keep up the lovely work
Dolla General has a product called "Mean Green" that cut grease so easy as well as removes .mold & mildew away. I use on outdoor furniture to get mildew off. Works fast and well.
Yes. Your headboard actually goes over the top of a window, but...... it would make a great headboard.
Kelly, covering a chair seat is extremely easy. It may bring you more money for the small amount of fabric.
I have hundreds of rolls of fabric and i live in the dfw area as well
Oh nice find.
I love that outdoor mat.
Be so good dor big family get together.
People are so wasteful
I think you doing great! It is a A6 waterbottle so its easy to take to rhe office and stuff. I my country you can buy them for about 25 euros. I was wondering why you don't take te good stuff that you maybe can't sell buy leave in the truck so you can donate it? Like the iron board and and other clothes?
Have a great day!
The belt wasn’t broken! Some people add their own buckles (:
That's what I was thinking but she tossed it aside so fast, I couldn't really tell if it just needed a buckle!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was thinking if her husband refinishes furniture then he might be able to repurpose the leather belts as accent trim for some of his projects.
I use old leather belts in some of my projects. Sometimes they get turned into strips to wrap handles.
it looked like it was just unsnapped and not broken
@@Wolfina1 Yes, it did have a snap, I replayed it to see if it did.
Maybe a silver buckle and it would go with the boots.
awesome haul!!! We have cicadas in Arkansas and I never thought about them sounding like rattle snakes but they do
Lots of fun ....great haul !
While I agree with others that what you thought was a headboard is a window valance, but if reinforced you could certainly use it as a headboard. 👍
OMG your backkkk I was like wait where it she at lol good luck
Maybe Alex would want to repair that chair with the messed up seat by sewing a new seat or even doing something with macreme thread/rope. Just a thought and suggestion. Love, love, love your videos!

The Valance would make a cute twin headboard..awesome dumpster find..
Keep up the great work, sending love all the way from the BAY AREA!!💯keep making and posting amazing videos.
Oh, man!!! I could sure have used that bed frame. So much good stuff this week
Oh my gosh
I watch Cole The Cornstar, his family has a corn farm and he is always talking about the Ariet boots. Good find. He loves them. They are pleasing to the eye.
I watch too - that was my first thought! Expensive boots, no problem selling those I am sure.
Loved the drop down table great for people in an apartment.
Love the idea of dumpster diving but terrified of bed bugs😐
Exactly bed bugs rat crap lice its all in there just nasty omg i itch just thinking of it im like you terrified lol
agreed and she takes no precautions while gathering the items. she has also taken things from the trash to her guest bed without washing. shes been lucky though. 1 bad case and she might dive differently. hopefully it never comes to that
Wow in strangers trash cans without a mask on. The virus is worse than bugs.
Okay y'all...please don't turn my comment into bashing. Thank you❤️
@GLM I wasn't being rude
That little antique table is so sweet
The traditional dress/pants/and scarf are likely an Indian Sari. Super cool.
I thought so too, and they're all beautiful.
Thy are punjabi dresses .. most of Sikh woman were thm .. thy can be expensive
Love that headboard thing,, lol. Very nice.
That drop leaf table is really cute. I have a larger one. It also got scratched on the top by my bad cats playing on it.
Great haul! The "headboard" is actually a Window Cornice it goes at the top of a window
GIRL DID YOU EVER GET THAT VINTAGE TRUNK OPEN??
The trunk would be great for storage and also as a coffee table. A great conversation piece as well. I would not let it go. Great for quilts, good for so many uses.
I think solid narra table w/drower nice one love it take care my friend from PHILIPPINES🇵🇭😃👍🏻
I believe that is a custom made curtain valance not a headboard...I could be wrong..
Missed not seeing Pilgrim...
Love watching all you find at the college dorms...amazing the waste.
Just be safe...
