    With the master ON in the ending part its noticable that the bas/kick is more center while the leads are more to the sides. There is also more high end.

    I'm curious, would the pre gain on the master channel in cubase work the same as the first gain you use in the master chain to reduce 7 Db?

    Are you using the CTZ method by Baphometrix?

    Have you tried standardclip? It's a cool clipper if you don't want to mess with a limiter.

    do you ever stack all of the leads in one layer and do the audio fx with it as well?

    Awesome tutorial, but how you can control your mix pre-master to sound loud?

    • @thijskroft785
      @thijskroft785 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      By haZZa why would you? You mainly want a mix tonsound good. The master is more about loudness. If you want to know how a mastered song might sound like, you can also just slap an ozone on there, as long as you take it off again...

  • @DJRaKuN

    So are you saying you don't use a limiter, and instead allow it to clip when rendering the final audio?

  • @djtheblacksmith

    Why not use the monomaker of the Brainworx plugin while you dial in the stereo width?? What is the benefit of the Nugen? Really curious.

    • @Eternize
      @Eternize  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The monomaker is basically a fixed side lowcut filter. Nothing wrong with using that, but it lacks controls beyond that imo.

    Great video man! But how do u prevent the master from going above zero without a limiter? Espacially when leads and kicks are coming together.
    The gain is sums up 🤔

    • @HarderSoundsChannel
      @HarderSoundsChannel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's the whole point of this video, instead of letting a limiter clip it at 0 he lets Logics internal clipping do it.

    • @HardInstruction
      @HardInstruction 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@HarderSoundsChannel Wow that's interesting. So it's going over red, but the information of clipping is not there after rendering? I can imagine that many sound devices wont work great with a clipped signal.

    Master your own material if you are a real pro. Leaving to others, and it will likely not sound as good as one expects.
