Toy Inspiration For Sugar Gliders

Sorry, this is not really a tutorial. I still hope you find some inspiration and decide to try out for yourself to make your own toys for their enrichment.
You can always purchase from an approved vendor if you have the resources. Those toys look so much nicer and are tested by senior owners so they are 99,9% safe.
Sugar gliders are very adorable marsupials and I love mine very much, but don't buy them as an impulse as they have very special needs and you have to be well informed before purchasing them.
A good staple diet with all the nutrients and supplements they need is a must. Pellets are only to be used as occasional snacks or during the day in case they get hungry. Other than that a pelleted diet is not a complete diet.
If you need a good diet, here are some recommended:
TPG - The Pet Glider (also known as the Priscilla Price diet)
BML - Bourbon's Modified Leadbeaters
HPW - High Protein Wombaroo
AWD - Australian Wombaroo Diet
LGRS - Lucky Glider Rescue & Sanctuary Suggie Soup
VGV - Val's Green Variety
and a couple more
I personally feed the SGS 2 as I've had the best experience with it. It's a diet mostly used in Europe.
Preparing their food takes up to 2 hours, I make 4-5 different batches and freeze it in cubes and it lasts me for about 6-8 weeks for 4 sugar gliders.
Sugar gliders live up to 15 years so you need to make sure they are the right pet for you before you purchase.
If you decide to purchase, please purchase from a reputable breeder and stay away from pet stores that sell them. More often than not they will sell you sick gliders or give false information about keeping them as pets.

Hi! I use fleece blankets for the bottom of the cage and I can't help you with links for toys as I have either purchased baby toys or made the rest myself. I have a couple videos on some toys I have made myself, if you are interested - well, actually, just one more besides this one right here :-D

You will want to mainly use anti pill fleece, if possible. Fleece is generally the best material for all cage sets.
What is the material u are using to thread everything together?seems like long rubber thread. Where do I buy that from?

I have heard that you need to put Gatorade or pedialyte in a sugar gliders water is this true? If so what does it help the sugar gliders for
No, you just serve water. In unusual cases, when they might be sick, a doctor may recommend adding those to their drink to speed up recovery! But sometimes (2-3 times a month) I like to add a little dilluted apple juice as long as it is natural with no sugar added.

Great job!!! Will you please tell me where you find your straws? I have tried & tried to make the spiral straws, but only get 4-5 inches before they break. I'm beginning to think it's because of the straws I use. Yours look "much" better quality than mine.

Hey I know this is not on the topic but my suggie just had her baby's there so esutiful. An I'm bra training with them I not so sure if I'm doing it right so can you tell me how you did it an what an wen I should be doing it. I did it last nite while Layla an moe were eating about 2 m. Am I had them in my bra for about 35 min but then I noticed mom an dad were running up an down in an out of the sleeping sacs. So I put them back I didn't want them to be upset. So please any info u can help with would be great. I love watching yr videos an. With your suggies Oh one more thing have u ever gibpve N u suggies super worms ??
I never had joeys from the very beginning, so maybe you should ask a breeder instead. I know that in the beginning you should only take them for a couple minutes at a time and slowly increase that time. But, as I said, a breeder could give you better answers regarding very young joeys. And yes, I gave them super worms too, but I only give the mealies now because I don't have the space for a second "worm farm" :-)
