Great vid Dan & Bren. It was a great addition to the trails over Covid. Nice to see it get some love recently. Still get the heebs dropping into the bomb hole .
That right around the big root nearly broke me and you just hopped over it. Plus all the times you're riding off the trail to widen the turn is amazing. You're good at this crack Dan!
Awesome vid! Love Dickies, mucky section not so much 😆. Kudos to builders. Connecting it to the Ticknock trailhead would make a hell of a trail. Maybe an idea for A-Line crew? 😜
@@Neiljitsu That is a brilliant idea. I’ll start incorporating this into my videos. This trail is an intermediate level. There’s only two areas of technical difficulty, the roots near the top and the steep rocky chute in the middle
The builders are the Pennyfather brothers. Awesome trail. Great vid Dan!
Ah amazing. Thanks for commenting and letting me know. They made a gem of a trail
Nice one Dan
Did they name the bombhole after their dad I heard? Big Percy? :)

Especially when there's a foot deep pond at the bottom of it 😜

@@Fifty-one-Fifty The root section is pretty technical. You definitely need to be focused.
I’m always looking for smart ways to open up corners.
Rad dogs & cute biking, deadly! 🤘
Love this video series. Cannot wait for next trail
@@johndunne8123 Thanks so much for watching
@ anytime. Thank you for showing use ways to do trails. I still chicken out on the big bomb hole
Savage, about time someone started show off some off the great trails around Ireland 👌
@@kevinoloughlin5827 I’ll be going further afield as the series progresses
Cool video Dan 🙌🙌🙌

Nice! Will have to try it sometime
It’s a great trail to incorporate into a Ticknock spin
Cool, nice to know it got some tlc, great track
@@stephensweeney2837 Should keep it going for another while now

Really appreciate going for all 3 🎉
Enjoying the series, get yourself down to Bree Hill at some point, savage trails.
@@shanemurphy35 I was thinking I must do that
@@thedanbwolfe nice, looking forward to seeing it. It's my favourite riding spot in the country
Yeah Dan! Nice filming there too, really enjoying these videos. Uploaded a wee long lense video on my channel too of a trail up north 😊
Nice one, the mud at the start is horrific at the minute, but the rest is class
@@williambrazil3760 Ye the mud is a slog. Once you’ve got through it, it’s perfect
Subbed for the dogging content🤙
Wait so where does it start? At the black or red intersection at the top you go right?
It’s about 1/3 way down, your cross a path, take a right, cross over bone shaker walking trail and traverse XC style over. It’s fairly easy to find.
@@seanmacmillan904 What John said 🫡
@@johndunne8123cheers lads, so a third of the way down the original red trail yeah?
@ Yep. Highline the black trail (rightmost) is a better combo. Closer in tech level to get warmed up
Savage timing with Dickies on MADs Stravaduro fir January. Hope you plan on popping up your time!
@@puckfook never did a timed run 🫣 Do you have to sprint through all the muck? Or does it start afterwards?
It starts after the muck thankfully! The segment starts more or less as the trail bends left after the slop
@ Ah that’s good. The muck isn’t the most pleasant 😂
You could rate them for skill level, beginner friendly or beginner fatal..
